And now back at base @rivieraautobody the real work begins on my Goldfinger 911 Safari with @tyronefuller3013 leading the charge - the goal to get it ready to show @goodwoodrevival 2018 - have we got our work cut out!!!
And Back to Reading in double quick time, I was particularly surprised 20 mins later to be overtaken by my in bitsSafari 911 on the back of the lorry coming past me on the outside lane of the M5! - thanks for the delivery Ian you mad nutter 🤣🤣🤣
After 2 hours of packing eventually the 911 Safari was ready to go... It took 6 of us 2 hours to get everything together to go. The most exciting part was lifting the car and engine onto the truck with a fork lift, then man handling it into position to leave. The chap who stored the car was a ninja with the engine wrap, it was incredible, he took 5 mins while we all looked on in amazement as he wrapped it from all sides. In the second shot, this was everything that went into the Range Rover which was full to the brim, there was eventually a 10cm gap at the top when we left.... and 5 hours later I was back at home - dropping off the parts the following morning @rivieraautobody in Oxfordshire
