The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has opened the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan paediatric hospital in Mary province, Turkmenistan, at a cost of Dhs110 million ($30 million). Construction of the hospital is in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to provide humanitarian and development support to Turkmenistan and develop its health sector.
The launch of the hospital, which was monitored by Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Foundation, is an innovative model of overall partnership in humanitarian and paediatric medical care, and is part of ‘Year of Zayed’ 2018.
"I was born in a very poor family in a remote village of Haryana. I had five sisters and one brother. At the age of eight, my parents abandoned me and my sisters on streets
because they couldn’t afford to raise daughters.... I always wanted to go to school and learn... But the age of eight I was roaming on the streets begging with my sisters to survive. Today I am sixty five....I had left begging as soon as I was able to collect enough money to buy some items to sell. I sell these balloons and artefact umbrellas for ten rupees and barely earn around sixty rupees per day. There are days when I am not able to sell even a single item and have to go to sleep without any food in my stomach. It is also hard for me to sell these items because I cannot walk properly... But sometimes I get lucky and earn around hundred rupees in a day,"
God wants us to exhibit self control, and as temples of god our bodies are not to be willfully desecrated by cigarettes and other toxins. If you're addicted keep faith, you can make it through it. #spiritual#sundays#godbless
Money. It's an uncomfortable subject for some. It's a topic I've never seen addressed on Instagram in relation to Chronic Conditions, Illness, and Disability. Without money, or enough of it, I know many people locally who do not, and cannot, access or purchase their much-needed medical and/or health related items and services.
Being on the Ontario Disability Support Program is to be between a rock and a hard place, on one hand insanely grateful for the assistance, and, on the other hand, frustrated, angry, worried and sad that ODSP does NOT provide enough to live, to address the issues related to Chronic Illness and Disability.
How do you handle financial-related issues in regards to your Chronic Illnesses? Is it a concern for you? Is money a near constant worry? Do you think you have good financial security in regards to your illness or condition?
I can tell you that the $801.00 I get every month is my only source of income. And it's hard. "Hard" is a gross understatement. I feel embarrassed to admit I am on ODSP. I don't want to need it. If I was able to work
40 - 60 hours a week, 6 days a week, I so would. If I was able to work 15 hours a week, I would. .
I think I'll try to address more uncomfortable topics related to Chronic Conditions, Illnesses, and Disability.
@harrahsresort , so I had a GREAT weekend at Harrahs Atlantic City except for two times. One, I had a HORRENDOUS experience at the buffet ... and two, this video. Two things, Harrah’s security is slipping BIG TIME here because this is by an entrance and there’s no security anywhere in sight and this young child was on this lady’s lap for at least ten minutes probably longer. If you walk through this casino there are signs EVERYWHERE regarding minors gambling and how parents should bring their children through the casino punishable by prosecution and whatnot if the rules are not followed. So disappointed in Harrah’s. I’ve been going here forever and this weekend I noticed they are losing their edge. Apparently they don’t care about minors gambling... look at that kid press those buttons. With all the crazy people in the world , you would think Harrah’s would care about having security at EVERY door. Thanks Harrah’s. #harrahs#poor security #harrahsisslipping#gamblingminor

I can’t tell you how many times I have thought this since starting work after college. I make good money, why does it seem like there’s never enough? Why does it look on paper like I should be able to pay my bills and SO MUCH MORE?!? I MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY TO FEEL BROKE!!! If you’ve ever had these thoughts, YOU are the person I am looking for!! Since embarking on our financial journey, I have learned SO MUCH about how to track my money, make better choices, and spend in line with my goals and WANTS.
If you are feeling this way, there is a BETTER WAY. I promise.
