Literature tells us that Kūkaniloko was a land designated for ali‘i kapu, those sacred chiefs descending from royal bloodlines. It is generally accepted that Kūkaniloko was established as a chiefly birthing site around AD 1000. As one of just two documented traditional birthing places for the highest ranking of ali‘i, Kūkaniloko was pivotal to the establishment of O‘ahu’s chiefdom, and its pōhaku bore witness to the birth of a number of sacred chiefs. +
To be inspired is to be filled with a spiritual awareness. Inspiration motivates me to do that which is mine to do. I am inspired in different ways at different times. Music Meister emotion in me or help me to feel more deeply. Words I hear or read me incite me to action. I may be inspired by scripture or by stories or poetry. Often I am moved by the actions of others through their courage their Triumph their ability to face and overcome obstacles their willingness to accept and achieve a goal. I think to myself if they can do it maybe I can too! I take time to discover and to experience whatever inspires me most. I use the inspiration to make a positive difference in my life and in the lives of others.
The human mind plans the way but the Lord directs the steps.

o ka pule ka mea nui ~ Prayer is the essential thing 🙏🏽
Prayer is active form of the belief structure and formulates the resonance required for manifestation. Within all dynamics of presence and recognition quanta energy behaves as “sparks” or “ignitions” and enlivens particles required for and towards energy. ~
in 2006, the massively successful “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne became a focus and discussion for many seekers. This trend slowly lost momentum when adherents were unable to manifest results as promised. The underlying misinterpretation was the fact that all too many met their “prayers” with the energy of their lack. The missing component was appreciation for what is and gratitude for the moment. Instead, focus was on what one wanted to move out of and this became the fixation. ~
The ancient Hawaiians saw prayer as a living frequency capable of transforming energy to the very point of physical shape-shifting. The mysteries laden in the universal intelligence is limitless and is willing to offer provisions of all imaginable. Choose Aloha 🙏🏽❤️🙌🏽 #energyhealing#aloha#shapeshifting#mana#powerofprayer#pule#kauai#makaleha#pohaku
If it makes you smile, it should stay for a while. 🌱 This makana was for my husband, handmade and hand delivered by my brother-n-law @ripmkealoha , made with lots of patience and love to be gifted on our wedding day. It was wrapped with ti & foliage gathered by ‘Ohana, grown by my grandmother and passed on to us 💕#pohaku#papakuiai#kmacsquared#hokuhikiandthesea
✨Take time to discover who you are. What serves you? What doesn’t? How can I be the best version of myself and what stands in my way of becoming that?
After three weeks away from the aina, where I live, and the farm and all it’s chores, I am taking time to reintegrate myself into what feels best for ME. .
I am not Hawaiian by blood, but I am a citizen of Hawaii. I actively malama this aina. As humans, we will never OWN this land, as the earth 🌏 is not something for us to own. It is our job to respect, honor, and take care of this land. .
One thing I do know is that I’m in the right place. I am honored to have a space that can be open to the community. A place that everyone can give back and put their hands in the land. A space where my uncle and volunteers can come together to harvest kalo, cook, peel, and ku’i together in community. A space where we can work together, grow together, harvest together, eat together, laugh together. That is why we created @yogardenhawaii . It is our mission to allow space for humans to be the highest version of themselves. 🙏🏽
