A few weeks ago, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. In the last few minutes of my day, I scribbled some notes in my journal about expectations—-how I probably had some thought at some time that my life would be different at this point, but how grateful I am to be in this place, space and with all of the people here. Oh, how thankful I am that my life turned out almost the exact opposite of how I expected it. So, as we head into the holidays, I wanted to send a love letter to all of you who are dreading those moments with family and the elaborate preparations and questions about what you’re doing, who you’re loving and when the babies are coming. I hope this season is one where you not only release people’s expectations of you, but where you let go of what you expected of yourself. You’re doing better than you think. Welcome to The Expectations Episode. Link in the bio. ❤️

PCOS: The often wondered about, Ever confused about syndrome. PCOS is one of the most common endocrinopathies in women of reproductive age. Unfortunately, I believe it is also grossly under diagnosed. This syndrome is unique in that it crosses multiple disciplines of medicine - often leading women to seek out various doctors for vague and often annoying symptoms. I dedicated an entire podcast to discussing PCOS because I believe it deserves it. In it I discuss:
1️⃣ How do I know if I have it?
✔️what can your doc see on physical exam?
✔️what’s labs should your doc check?
✔️when do you need an ultrasound?
2️⃣ why should you care (or seek diagnosis)?
✔️risk of uterine cancer
✔️others: anxiety/depression, fatty liver, gestational diabetes, insulin resistance, sleep apnea, and more
3️⃣ How can I treat it?
✔️from lifestyle changes to medications I provide a comprehensive list of treatment modalities to find what fits you and your priorities best.
4️⃣ How do I know when treatment is working?
You deserve to live your best and healthiest life, which is why this podcast will be available on iTunes, google play, stitcher, and SoundCloud on Thanksgiving Day. I mean, whats better than a huge meal and learning about health? 🍗🥧

What do business and dating have in common? 👩💻👩❤️💋👩 They both require massive action and experiencing a TON of rejection to get what you want. 🏃♀️ And yet, we cling to a fairy tale that both dating and business are supposed to just magically “work out,” and that if they don’t, there’s something wrong with us and we’re broken. 👸💫🤴 If you have a sales-based business and are struggling to secure a client base, or if you’re trying to find a partner and don’t have the relationship you want, you probably think that you’re a failure or that people just don’t want what you’re offering. 😣
You’re telling yourself that either you’re wrong or they’re wrong. 🤦♀️ But guess what? There’s a third option: No one is wrong!
You just haven’t done what it takes to succeed.
You haven’t made enough offers – and whether it’s an offer to hire you or to go on a date with you, it works exactly the same way. 💃
I know this sounds wild, but stay with me.
It makes sense that the more you put yourself out there, the more people you meet, the better chance you have to make a sale or get a date, right? It’s common sense. So why aren’t you doing it? 🤔
So in order to succeed in your business or in dating, you have to be able to reframe and deal with rejection. If you can teach your brain that hearing no is a crucial part of the process, you won’t take it so personally and you won’t make it mean anything about you. 🧘♀️ And that’s what we’re going to be doing later this week. So stay tuned. 💕

Last month I had the pleasure of interviewing 3 incredible women who know a thing or two about helping women build wealth: @maggiegermano, @aauw's Gloria Blackwell, and @crisc_dc.
At last month's LIVE podcast show at @istrategylabs in DC, we explored how the gender WEALTH gap is actually even wider than the wage gap, and broke down what we can do about it in 3 simple steps:
1. How to slay your debt
2. How to up your earnings
3. And how to stack your cash
In today's newly-released @bosseduporg #podcast episode, you can hear how these money mavens broke it all down with me. Take a listen now in @applepodcasts, @spotify, or wherever you get your pod on and grow your wealth (and your power) like a boss!

The incredible Miss Major Griffin-Gracy has spent over 40 years advocating for the most marginalized people. She, alongside badass activists Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, were pivotal in the Stonewall Riots and everything that followed. All 3 worked tirelessly to support their trans family. Miss Major’s work continues to this day. Every single one of us owe her a giant THANK YOU for everything she has done, and all she continues to do, in the fight for equality. .

I teach small business owners how to use Instagram. That's it.
How do you explain to people what you do?
PS - would you want a video to explain what you do?
