Photography excites me for a variety of reasons, one amongst them is testing the limits of the gadget in hand.
Shooting handheld in lowlight with a camera and a lens, neither of which has image stabilization was something I always wanted to try! Trying to see if the focus can be nailed with as low noise as possible.
Was pretty stoked to see the outcome of this shot.
However, for months I have edited and re-edited this because I wasn't happy with how it looked (still not super happy lol). For some reason, on the edit table I wasn't as happy seeing the outcome as I was when I took the shot.
Twist in the story, maybe there are other artists out there who can justify this better! I reached out to a friend, @lamtoby who is a Hong Kong based amazing artist and asked him to play around with this. He was super kind to collaborate this! 🙏 Swipe right to see his version which is so unique and conceptual, something that I probably can never do!
No one earlier had edited my pictures and it was such an amazing experience to see someone else give a complete different vibe to something that I shot.
Moral of the story, as part of me is trying to evolve and grow, I would probably collab with a lot more people to learn more from them! It's a refreshing and humbling experience.
If you managed to read till this, let me know in the comments or dm if I should post the original in my story so that you can see how different people take completely different routes to come to a final product!
Head over to @lamtoby 's page and show him some love! He is a beautiful and incredibly talented artist 😊
P.S -- it reached a stage where @sana_ser had to ask me if I'll ever post it! 🙈🙈
Today’s posts are all going to be a #throwbacktuesday !!! This styled shoot is pretty much a wedding photo since the couple in the photo are married! I’m not sure if there’s one bad photo of them! They photograph so well together 💋🌿 Photographer @laurkenkendall
