This is my guy @aandr0s . I truly love this young man like family and he and his entire family are near to my heart . I'm going to miss him when he ships off to Washington and Lee University.  We have been together a few years now and accomplished alot. Alex trains at high level every time we connect and gives 110% on every rep. He is a multiple sport athlete who competes and lettered varsity basketball and football. Alex was named the Defensive Player Of the Year in football for his conference and Mr. Andros  did all this while maintaining a 4.50 GPA!! THAT'S NOT A TYPO. 4.5 BABY! Yesterday I tried a plyo workout for the first time and I loved it! But it was also soo challenging and really put into perspective how much more work I need to put into healing my ankle.

Its been over a year since my accident; sure I'm doing most things now but there's still daily pain, weekly physio visits, and I'm still on a waitlist to see specialists😔

It can be a very frustrating process; before yesterdays workout I had come to terms with the fact that this is never going to fully heal but seeing how far off I am from where I should be really makes me want to refocus and get back at it.

Now that I know plyo targets my ankle in all the ways my therapy needs - balance, flextion, strength, I'll definitely be incorporating it into my daily routine. .

Umm have I mentioned I'm nowhere near perfect!? . . Yesterday I tried a plyo workout for the first time and I loved it! But it was also soo challenging and really put into perspective how much more work I need to put into healing my ankle. . . Its been over a year since my accident; sure I'm doing most things now but there's still daily pain, weekly physio visits, and I'm still on a waitlist to see specialists😔 . . It can be a very frustrating process; before yesterdays workout I had come to terms with the fact that this is never going to fully heal but seeing how far off I am from where I should be really makes me want to refocus and get back at it. . . Now that I know plyo targets my ankle in all the ways my therapy needs - balance, flextion, strength, I'll definitely be incorporating it into my daily routine. . . Find what works for you...what benefits you...and never give up! Yes it will be hard...Yes it will be discouraging...but YES it will be worth it! . .
