💥 Dumbbell jump squats zijn uitstekend om kracht en explosiviteit te ontwikkelen. Na jouw dynamische warm up kun je starten met deze oefening en 10 sets van 3 reps is een uitstekende optie. Neem tussen de sets 45-60 sec rust en gebruik als gewicht 6-8 kg dumbbells.

MAAR, met deze oefening kun je ook perfect de lower body training afsluiten. De dumbbell jump squats worden in dit geval een effectieve Metabolic finisher! Kies hier voor 3 sets van 10 reps en start met dumbbells van circa 8-10 kilo. Je kunt tussen de sets rust nemen, 45-60 sec, maar in het kader van de finisher kan ik aanraden om een core oefening uit voeren als 'actief herstel' en hier kun je bijvoorbeeld denken aan de plank hold. ‼️ Er zal vermoeidheid zijn maar behoud een goede techniek/uitvoering.

さすがにフォームは乱れてくるけど、1回でも多く目標に近づこうとするみんなを見てると、かなり感動します😭

Really love these as an additional plyometric exercise for baseball/softball athletes. They add a frontal-plane component with the lateral push/slide.

The added frontal plane component is a great way to have the athlete train within a different plane of motion. Sports performance training can sometimes focus too much on the sagittal plane (forward/backward), while athletes must consistently train within the three planes of motion: Sagittal, Frontal, and Transverse.

This plyometric exercise can be paired with a strength exercise as a complex super-set. It is also a great way to add frontal plane movement into an athlete’s program.

The goal is to land flexed at the ankle knee and hip with the knee tracking over the middle toe, sticking the catch on the first attempt. We coach our athletes to double clutch in the instance they cannot stick the first attempt. A successful stick on the second attempt is a better position that fighting for your foot position only to land in a terrible position

We coach our athletes to double clutch in the instance they cannot stick the first attempt.
