100 billion stars, 46 billion light years across. The universe is a very big place. I am impressed by the achievements we’ve made so far when learning about our universe. For small creatures such as we, that shows that we are determined to understand anything, regardless of how big, or small. We’ve created and accurate way of understanding these things, and that’s science. We no longer needed to rely on astrology or any of the mystics. Astronomy was born, and we were persistent in studying the stars. Then, other fields started to come about. When things got too small, quantum mechanics cane to be. I love how we value understanding our existence, from the natural sciences to the complex mathematics. Curiosity is in our nature.
