Okay, I will give you a small break from all of my posts from Morocco. That's because I just booked our (me and my significant other) Easter getaway to - drumroll please - Lesvos, Greece. More precisely, Plomari, the birthplace of ouzo.
It's not my first time in Plomari, actually I've been there a couple of times. It just so happens that my in-laws live there so you kinda have to visit every now and again. Luckily I like the place so it's not really a chore. This photo was taken in August 2015 some trips ago.
Plomari is a small town on the southern coast of Lesvos of some 3,500 inhabitants. It's a great place to get away from the hordes of tourists that are found in some of the towns and islands around the Greek archipelago. Quiet, authentic, and boasting amazing food and drink. What's not to like?
