Most of us get really excited in the starting of the week or month or just after festivals like Diwali, new year. Even when we start off a fitness journey, first 2-3 weeks go with full excitement and energy and slowly you find yourself spiraling in negative energy, the thoughts to let go and binge or to skip workout because you think that you deserve a break now. Then the break day becomes a break week and soon you realize you are out of your habits and now going back to the diet and workout seems a task to you.
Even though strategically taken breaks are beneficial, too many frequent breaks in your habits is going to lead to slow progress. Now many people also give excuses of some travel or party but then if your timeline is of 12-15 weeks you need to stay focused and remember why you started and how excited you were in the first week when you saw small changes in your body. Remember that feeling and don't stop.
So everyone who are silently reading the posts and thinking "Kal se pakka shuru" (let's start from tomorrow) and not starting it at all or giving 50% efforts and expecting 100% results it's time to buckle up and give your best shot to your healthy body. Enter the new year with a healthy mind and body with unending excitement of your fitness journey. 💪💪💪
