How can we live without our Phone?🤯
Today as I needed my phone the most I was not able to use it!😡
It certainly was frustrating though I realised I need a new phone and perhaps a back up plan.😏
Any recommendations on what phone should I get?

Today is World MentalHealth Day and we want to take a moment to talk about why this is so important - even if you don't think that this post applies to you. In today's current age of constant connection, instant gratification, and Instagram perfection, it's so important to take a step back and assess.
Let's talk about the facts. Mental health is by and large one of the greatest disease burden on the planet- a burden that more often than not, is invisible. In America alone, the estimate is that one in FOUR adults will experience a mental health disorder in any given year, and one in seventeen adults suffers from a serious mental illness. Those are huge numbers. And what's more about those, mental illness can strike anyone at any moment. The WHO estimates that by 2020, Major Depressive Illness will be the leading cause of disability in women and children globally. Newsflash - that's 2 years from now. But there is good news - between 70 to 90 percent of mental illnesses are treatable and treatable with high success rates, but the stigmas surrounding mental illness are keeping these numbers down.
So let's talk about the stigmas. The internet and the age of globalization have done wonders for communication across the world, but the same process has also opened the doors for photoshopping and creating illusions of perfection. It is so easy to fall into the trap of believing what we see on the internet as reality and desiring and admiring that which we see and that which is also impossible. Instagram. is. curated. Photoshop is rampant. Facetune and filters and all these tools we have created to help us better express ourselves, have also had the adverse effect of smoothing out the sharp edges of reality. It is so important to remember that celebrities and your friends and influencers still breathe the same air as you. Some of them have mental illnesses and still manage to look like their whole lives are trips on yachts in the tropics. Don't let someone's personal on the internet make you feel any less worthy. Society has decided for us that it is not okay to be anything less than 100% optimal in mind and body- and that is simply not reality! (Cont'd in comments)⬇
It's mental healthy day and I can't just stop reflecting on all the times that I have bad mouth myself as a mother and teacher for being imperfect.

That's why she is having a hard time is so important to understand because taking the moment to take a breath or to listen means more than yelling back.
Remember it's okay to show your needs too especially to young children and especially in a classroom setting. It allows them to be seen and heard.
