Here’s a quick tip on head positioning during push ups and planks. These are great movements for core and upper body strength, but what is often overlooked is the bodies alignment from head to toe. A common mistake is dropping the head which creates unwanted stress to the neck/back. Especially when a lot of us are spending too much time in that forward head position daily on our phones. Keep this in mind next time you do these movements!

Yet again, another weekend of solid performances and maximum effort (with one or two exceptions mentioned in match reports). We are proud of the players for the level of effort and quality they have produced so far this season; please keep it up! This weeks challenge is a tough one; do it on sand if you can. ----- FCE Warm up dynamic stretching then 1 x 100m 3/4 sprint to prepare muscles. * running on sand is optional but is more of a challenge if you live within easy distance of the beach!
8 x 100m sprints with 20 seconds rest between each sprint.
Straight into 20 jump squats and 10 burpees after the last sprint.
