“The life of the tyrant is most like being “bound in a ... prison’ which, far from being the most free and happy is the most’ perfectly wretched.’ ... The tyrant’s soul is comprised of all the better elements enslaved to ‘the most deprived and maddest,’ his spirit is ‘necessarily poverty ridden and insatiable’; emotionally, he is ‘always full of fear’ surrounded by nothing but enemies, constantly ‘complaining, sighing, lamenting....’”—Excerpts from Plato’s Republic, lines 577-579 from Michael Rinella’s book, Pharmakon. Unfortunately tyrants are nothing new, and it’s past time to dispense with this one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

some of my fruitful traveling Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Greece.. scattered, but compiling them more everyday now. 1. 8-15 Kiwis for meal around midday, Watermelon with lime for any meal, eat 3x per day when activity level is high, but prefer to eat less times per day, to eat only 1x per day you may need a 1-2 hour eating window where you eat slowly, attent but can enjoy something else like an informative video or reading online.
2. tree ripe fruit is best, as most market fruit is picked before it is ripened and this affects its nutritive content, though of course it is living even as it is recycled again into the soil and its seed a potential tree! i have found a single plum tree in one neighborhood that would feed a dozen people a meal's worth.. then for the next week it would probably be ready again.. i also found a delicious white mulberry tree in Marousi (Μαρούσι) that i wish to revisit 😌
3,5,9 Buy local, but be ready with your own bag and the foreign language vocab to say No bag, i have my own! this can be tricky for older locals to hear 🙃 ideally organic for eating edible skin fruit (kiwis, very ripe bananas, guavas, watermelon also fall into this category!) 4. Quality fruit. Some stores ripe mangoes for instance are ripe but still taste or are textured poorly. They were not loved enough, simple as that 🙁
6. stock up as you need, dont spoil, buy enough for the next 3 meals if you est 2 meals in a day, 4 if you eat 3, etc, OR do what suits you 😉
7. Fruits like pineapple, melon, mango, kiwi, etc can be skinned/eaten barehanded. Figure it out or fast, monkey brains 🙊
8, 10 variety can help, dense foods like dates, nuts, seeds can imitate the calorie density of foods the world is used to eating like meat, eggs, dairy, potatoes, processed empty calorie foods (processed protein, oil, sugar is not good for your inner chemistry, take the example of arsenic in rice not being so bad as even a tiny bit of arsenic isolated)
10 find vibin places to chill, make friends, share the fruth you feel! living fruit/veg juice is excellent too, although i have done more monofruit cleanses than juice and live juice fasting, i will post more l8r 🍉❤🙏🏽
When I first started teaching #pilates , @phil.mcdougall told me there are no bad students, only bad cueing. And I would say the same exact thing applies to my health coaching clients. So just be nice, someone might be trying their hardest. 😊
More then two thousand years ago, Plato compared society to life-time prisoners in a cave, where the reality they see and deem to be the only truth is a mere reflection of the world outside. According to Plato, people should not be taking sensory knowledge of reality (which comes from what we see and hear in the world) for reality itself and only philosophers are able to see beyond our perception and comprehend alternative possibilities. Artists, however, have that capability as well.
Los Angeles based Mexican artist Carlos Luna James uses an abbreviation @mgoglktko (pronounced ma’go gala’ktiko) as his artistic name and signature. It comes from his Mayan zodiac sign - Mago Galáctico Blanco (White Galactic Magician in English) - which grants him the power to enchant people.
Carlos creates what he calls an immersive reality installations, conflating art and technology. His sculptures are combinations of architectural precision, artistic innovation, and craftsmanship. To enhance our experience, some include sound in addition to a digital element, either an embedded video screen or a mapped projection. The artist uses animation to imbue his characters with movement and emotions. Carlos learned fabrication on his own by trial and error. He works tirelessly perfecting his artistry. Laser cutting and 3D printing are among his many techniques. “My biggest question is What is our reality? Is it created by us, all that we see? Do we build our existence and live out all what we had perceived as truth? I’ve been fascinated with the concepts of reality, perception and consciousness. I think my art reflects, a lot, the spiritual trans, when you get to the point where you are at peace, no thoughts, nothing, you just feel it. That’s where I try to get with my art… kind of hypnotizing you.” Read more about the artist, link in bio.
