15 Day Water Fast Home Retreat 💦🏡🧘🏻♀️
I’m current on day two, 40 hrs since my last nutrient intake.
Have I ever fasted before?
Yes! I continually practice intermittent fasting from periods of 16-24 hours throughout last year.
I also did a three-day water fast, this time last year, but was not well educated and did not understand the process of the changes in my body.
Why am I choosing to fast now?
I have experienced many improvements physically, emotionally and spiritually during intermittent fasting and I am seeking to dig deeper inwardly for deeper healing. There is not anything that I particularly perceive that I want to change about my body, mind or spirit, rather than improve harmony. I love my body, I love the food I eat and most importantly I love the relationships I have.
I am choosing consciously to endure a taxing process that will create awareness, alignment and a positive relationship with my body, food and the world around me.
Why am I choosing to fast for 15 days?
I am choosing 15 days because this is the time I have been given as a gift to heal without any disruptions. Longer fast will produce deeper healing. Most people have enough fat reserves to water fast healthy for up to 40 days or longer. Most chronic illness can be attended to on water fasts that are at least three weeks.
I am giving my digestive track an opportunity to rest, where healing and energy can go to other parts of the body that have been abused with overexercise, overeating or consuming environmental toxins. I am blessed to have 15 days to choose healing over surface indulgences that are accustomed in my culture.
Why am I choosing to stay at home?
I was telling my boyfriend earlier this year that I would rather choose a vacation that I could go to India and learn about healing the body, mind and spirit through yoga ashrams. In my spare time, I would fantasy about these types of retreats that are offered all over the internet with a big price tag, not to mention the flight cost.

We're getting ready to leave on a trip, the boys have been home on summer vacation. Things are crazy town! I used my intuition and made up this blend this morning. I cannot stop smelling my wrists. I also applied it along the midline of my body. So- belly button to sternum. It's an amazing place to apply essential oils! My intuition was right. This was the exact blend I needed. Enjoying Hamburg! On a day to day basis I eat a whole-food plant-based diet. But on vacation I dont’t mind some good vegan junk food (like this amazong burger and fries) or eating vegetarian foods that aren’t 100% plant-based. This allows me to be way more flexible, not worry, and I can try a lot more foods! Health is about the day-to-day routine, not what you eat on vacation once in a while.
