What did I make with these plus baby bella mushrooms, sugar snap peas, green onions, celery, cilantro, quinoa, and avocado? Swipe to see it! Also swipe to see the ingredients in the pizza seasoning and coconut aminos I used. I put it all together, and it came out so yummy! 😍 So, I just cooked 1/2 cup of quinoa in water by itself. I added 1 avocado, a bit of cilantro, and some yellow mustard to the cooked quinoa after it was done. Then, I just added all the rest of the other things (sugar snap peas, celery, baby bella mushrooms, green onions, garlic, Himalayan sea salt, pizza seasoning, cracked black pepper, and coconut aminos) to the quinoa, avocado, cilantro, and yellow mustard after cooking it all in a pan. 🌱💪🏼 (The garlic is just garlic in water and citric acid.) 👌🏼 Thank you @chris_a_schultze for telling me about coconut aminos since I don't like soy! 🙌🏼 #PlantStrong#FitFood#FitFuel#whatveganseat#CrueltyFree#PlantPower#VeganBeauty#VeganLiving#HealthyLivingEnthusiast#WholePlantFoods#VeganEats#CoconutAminos#NotAllVegansEatSoy

true life: addicted to powders!
to me these are not just supplements- they are pretty much my nutritional rebalancing system and the foundation of my diet. i experimented with taking out supplements and that is when my health really crumbled. so now i’m sticking to my supplements and i’m doing it for life!i owe most of my fitness and well being to them!
but there is a catch. i can’t use supplements as an excuse to live off junk food. i’ve done this in the past- having the supplements to cover my basis and then living off ice cream saying all my nutritional needs are covered. eating real fresh foods really does matter!
many years ago i used to be totally against supplements- i wouldn’t even take a vitamin. then i swung the other way and became a supplement fanatic- living off supplements and then just eating whatever junk food i wanted to have.
now i have found my middle ground. i take my powders daily. it’s all about nutritional rebalancing and breaking my fast in the best way possible. and then i get a healthy fresh meal. i’m always adding in fruits, veggies, starches, nuts, seeds, beans, oils, etc.
quitting my daily junk food eating habits hasn’t been easy. but keeping my nutritional needs met helps me control my appetite. and what helps me a lot is knowing that i’m not cutting anything out of my diet. that i can eat everything in moderation.i don’t want to live in a world without vegan pizza and ben & jerry’s. it might be sustainable for some people but it just isn’t for me!
anyway, my stint without supplements made me really appreciate them. i’ve been getting better everyday and i owe a lot of it to nutritional rebalancing & my whole foods plant based diet.
anyone else out there addicted to their supplements?

Raspberry beauty balls are the perfect mid afternoon snack. Try them, they're super easy to make and taste delicious!
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup cashew nuts (natural)
1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)
2 tablespoons maple syrup (100% maple)
1 cup desiccated coconut
1 lemon zest
Grind your cashew nuts in a food processor.
Add the coconut, raspberries, protein powder and lemon zest. Mix to combine
Roll into balls and then roll in more coconut if you like.
Store in the freezer and serve from frozen. Enjoy!
NOTE : if you guys want to make them nut free for school or for allergies, you can replace the cashews for sunflower seeds and just follow the same steps. Amanda x
Made some homemade Sofritas (crumbled tofu, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, salt, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, caramelized onions), and put that in a lettuce wrap with homemade taco sauce (tomato sauce, cumin, garlic, salt) and avocado. It was super yummy and very low carb. Want some more but I ran out 😂 Probably going to snack soon if I’m being honest 🥑🍅🥗 #tacos#lettucewraps#lettuce

Healthy baked oatmeal bars for a nice dessert this Sunday afternoon. Used a little stevia sweetened rhubarb strawberry chia jam as filling and topped with plenty of fresh strawberries 🍓🍓🍓Chia jam is amazingly easy, combine about two tablespoons chia seeds with every cup of fruit. Just heat it up, sweeten if needed and then let the jam thicken. I had my batch in the fridge for about a week so I used up the last of it with these bars. There’s a little coconut oil in the oats mixture, I think next time I will substitute for mashed banana. Otherwise these little bars are a jazzed up version of a bowl of oatmeal
