Naturally, most of us want to feel good! We want to feel vibrant, healthy and energized. We want to feel like our choices are beneficial, not only to us, but to those around us and our planet.🌍
That’s where intentional eating comes in.
Intentional eating is about eating mindfully and choosing to consume foods that make us feel good and reflect our values.
I believe that instinctively, we all know that what we put into our body is important and directly affects our health. What we eat can energize us and promote healing, or it can deplete us and promote disease.
It’s not about trying to stick to a strict diet, it’s about starting where I’m at, and making choices from that place. It’s about truly examining my options so that I can make intentional choices that feel good. 🌿
Try to always ask yourself :
IS THIS FOOD/DRINK NOURISHING TO ME AND THE PLANET?
Use your intuition to guide you and choose real, whole foods that make you feel good — inside & out.🍏🍄🍠🍆🍒
WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF THIS FOOD? — did it come from the earth or a factory? Is it local or did it travel miles to get here? Is it grown or produced in a sustainable, ethical way? Is it packaged in a way that is supportive or harmful to our planet?🌎
I understand that this question can feel overwhelming, and that there aren’t always good options available that fit within your values. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being intentional and aware. It’s about making the best choices you can in your particular situation and circumstances. Ultimately, it’s about feeling great about the choices you’re making.
Start where you are
It’s about cultivating more awareness around what you’re putting into your body so that you can truly shine in your life.🌌🌌

- 250g plain flour

- 200g raspberries
- Almond yogurt

》Make the rice by cooking following for 15 minutes covered;
• 1 cup wholegrain rice
• 1/4 cup black rice
• 2 cups water
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar
(makes enough for 3-4 servings)
》Let it cool and serve with:
• chickpeas pan fried with cayenne, turmeric & pepper
• mango, diced
• cucumber, diced
• avocado, diced
• pumpkin seeds
• tahini, lime and maple dressing
