Turns out, our rose 🌹 bush in the backyard is not dead! Just some dead vines. But this beauty was blooming when I went out to water this evening! I still need to trim the dead vines when my new shears come in.
"Playing with my succulents helped me to move past much anxiety and even to let go of the need to control. I realized that no matter how optimally I set things up for success, sometimes stuff just happens. That it’s okay to let go of those things no longer helping, to move forward and GROW." - Rachael 🌵🧡 @infinitesucculent
Fresh and beautiful air plants just arrived! And we’re also restocked with cement vessels for air plants—new colors like this terra-cotta one. // Air Plants start at $2.95 each. Vessels are $4.95 each. // #thatplantlife
Super cute close up of this planted tiny cactus I gifted my lovely hostess @craftcoursenash when we stayed in Nashville. I hope she didn't mind that I took the liberty of planting it myself from the #spaltedhomeminicactuskit . I think it fits right in at her house and in her hand!
So... I met a Plant Dealer (yes there is such a thing). And I have these babies being shipped to me. Smaller versions of course, but these are the beuties: Monstera Andansonii, Silver Dollar Plant and Veriegated String of Hearts.

Look at this amazing hydrangea!!! I've never seen one like this before and was just in awe! @pluto wasn't entirely happy about me picking them but I just picked one 😋
This hydrangea comes from China and you find natural variation in the species, some of which are sometimes considered to be separate species; these include H. aspera ssp.sargentiana and H. aspera ssp. villosa.
This guy needs a lot of water, so he does better planted in semi-shade. He will like full sun only with regular watering on sunny, hot days.
Sweet baby Micans ♥
Since I started collecting philos, I’ve dreamt of a big pot of long, lush Micans vines hanging in a window. So this week I made myself one, a cute AF little pot of cute babies that will one day be a big magnificent, overgrown Jungle Pot - I’m all about that indoor Jungle life!
// Last week I took an ultra motivating course of botanical drawing. A great experience, draw all day and observe the plants, try to transcribe their movements, their dance, their signature. For the first time, watching so carefully, I really understood that the plants were alive. Certainly I knew it, but I needed to experience it, and for the first time I felt their life. And I myself felt more alive. This photo illustrates the first exercise of the course, try to reproduce with these different drawing tools these "little treasures". Now I have my own box of Little Treasures and I will come out this winter when the plants outside will be less present...
i’m not someone who has their shit together. yeah, i’m passionate about women’s health, because i am a woman and recognize how important it is to be connected to ourselves and how important it is to take proper care of our bodies. i always say, knowledge is power. and in this world, us ladies need all the power we can get!
i’m a server and a dog walker, but i also have a part time gig as a wellness fit-fluencer. i’m a regular, weird ass girl just sharing my journey as i navigate the ins and outs of being a woman who acknowledges the importance of daily self-care & leading a holistic lifestyle. so if you’re over there comparing yourself to my instagram highlight reel, just know that making a difference and having an impact on the world is a possibility for you too.

This dude comes from Argentina and is a very hardy little plant, making him the perfect container/apartment plant.... they can tolerate full sun and also hardy to temperatures as low as −7 °C (19 °F) if kept dry.
Their soft spines don't penetrate your skin, making the peanut cactus a good choice for children to grow and they are super easy to propagate by detaching the stems, which break off easily, and laying them on top of cactus potting mix in a small pot. They produce roots along the bottom of the stem.
He rewards you with the most stunning orange blooms, just such a happy little guy!
This is home. 🐶🌱✨ Sunday my sweet fella slit his paw pad open on a piece of broken glass at a local swimming hole. As the gentle soul he is, he knew he was injured and that I would fix it, so he’s allowed super easy soaking, cleaning and wrapping. His demeanor the last two days has been incredibly sad, mopey and honestly like he’s in a lot of pain. Has anyone’s pup ever injured their paw? Any secret tips and tricks to soothe my sweet boy? #harlowthehandsomest#mylittleleif
