Tree #wisdom . •
I’ve always felt a deep calling to be by #nature . I found myself marveling the mysteries of trees and their #ancientwisdom . Just sitting beneath an old tree and engaging in deep listening....inhaling deeply, exhaling ahhhhhh. Even science says that looking at trees have the power to significantly decrease our stress levels. •
It’s funny(?) how disconnected and disjointed we’ve become through the upsurge in technology. Phones have become an extension of our body. It’s hard to put it down, myself including. It’s a very conscious and intentional act for me to put my phone away to focus on this #present moment. And obviously I was out in nature with my phone to snap this quick pic. But it’s also a reminder how far we’ve wandered away from our origin, the essential #nature . How many of our ancestors took selfies with trees? •
I wonder how much dis-ease could be prevented or even eliminated if we disconnected from our phones for a moment and found a nice tree to sit under, breathing in the pure air. •
Perhaps that’s why I left the big city...having to crawl to Prospect Park to get my daily dose of nature. And still, the #energy is completely different in a park vs. the deep wilderness. •
Seeking to find balance in connecting and disconnecting. There has to be a perfect formula for maintaining harmony between the two. Especially finding that I need to be intentional when picking up my phone rather than mindless consumption. •
Cheers to an intentional journey together. May you put your phone down and go smell the trees.

Radicchio harvest time from @littleriverfarmri at the @aquidneckgrowers farmermarket 💚💜. Seriously, sometimes I am overcome by the wonderous beauty of the variety found in nature, and in the vegetable and fruit kingdom alone. No artist can paint better than Mother Nature... And feelin big appreciation for the hardworking dedicated farmer duo who created this beautiful certified organic farm that comes to our farmers market year round. Gonna use these beauties for salads and wraps for appetizers and sandwiches if I ever come out of the mesmerizing trance they put me in...🌀 #radicchio#lettuce#mothernature#plantkingdom#vegetable#littleriverfarmri#aquidneckgrowersmarket
The plant kingdom exists to bring feeling into manifestation. On the plant level, feeling exists in a pure and passive form. The animal and human kingdoms manifest this more actively, more separately, but often with less beauty. Consciousness in plants is on a primal level of unity; therefore it is more psychic, telepathic.
Life forms are stations for the reception and transmission of forces, through which all are nourished. Each thing exists to nourish all others, and, in return, to be nourished itself. In this manner each kingdom of nature serves to receive and transmit life. This life is implicit in light and in the transmission of stellar or astral forces.
That is the gift, the grace, the power of plants. 🌱✨#Ayurveda#plantkingdom#fairy#energy#nature#photography#mojavedesert#canonphotography#canon5dmarkii

🦋Kingdoms are a way that scientists have developed to divide all living things. These divisions are based on what living things have in common and how they differ. Currently there are five kingdoms in which all living things are divided: Monera Kingdom, Protist Kingdom, Fungi Kingdom, Plant Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. Here are Plant Kingdom and Animal Kingdom meeting each other with such kindness and respect, depending on one another. It’s a lesson, it’s a reminder - we are part of this too.🦋

EPIPHYTE PLANTS are COLLABORATIVE with positive impact 📷 Phalaenopsis orchid
An epiphyte is an organism that grows on the surface of a plant and derives its moisture and nutrients from the air, rain or from debris accumulating around it
Epiphytes take part in nutrient cycles and add to both the diversity and biomass of the ecosystem in which they occur like any other organism. They are an important source of food for many species. Typically, the older parts of a plant will have more epiphytes growing on them. Epiphytes differ from parasites in that epiphytes grow on other plants for physical support and do not necessarily negatively affect the host
Even though some orchid species are terrestrial, a vast majority of orchids are epiphyte. And they are widely spread across the globe, which shows a successful way of living
What can we learn from it? How collaborative are we everyday? Are we thinking win-win, lose-win or even worse lose-lose? Can we, by our actions, impact positively the life of others while still pursuing our own individual goals?
It’s funny in my culture. We’re almost taught that plants are inanimate objects, somehow less evolved then animals. That couldn’t be further from the truth.
Plants eat without mouths, move without limbs, think without brains & see without eyes. Whilst we share the same space, their kingdom is very different to ours.
Plants can eat sunlight.
Just imagine if we could do that?! All of our human struggles and fighting over resources would be over in an instant. We’d probably just learn to grow roots and settle down.
Studying botany academically one of the main things I learnt was that the scientific community has only scratched the surface when it comes to understanding these highly complex beings. There is so much to be discovered and many mysteries remain.
So get outside and get to know our green companions, you never know what magic will happen. 🌿❤️🌳
