Hot damn this workout was all that and a bag of kale chips💪🏼🔥
Definitely felt some leg burn from yesterday’s cardio bonus.

My upper body is weak sauce, but it’s getting stronger as I can use the 10lb longer so that’s 💃🏻 and these moves did burn today.
•
Weighted punches with 10lb dumbbells only lasted so long, but I kept trying them and used 5lb. Never have done box jumps. and I tried a chair and though I was going to die so I had to modify as I didn’t have much at home to use, so I did tuck jumps😅

Definitely an all around kick ass workout that you can challenge & push yourself with🙌🏼 have an amazing weekend everyone!💫

Just thinking about how grateful I am to be able to run and travel. On Wednesday morning I had a quick run before we headed to the airport to fly to Glasgow. Upon arrival I got stuck at passport control because they thought my passport was fake 😂. They didn’t know you can opt for a bigger passport with more pages instead of the standard one. The officer was really nice though. Then we had to pick up our rental car and by we I mean Tibor because I can’t drive stick but I do my part by always reminding him to stay on the left side of the road. That’s after I always accidentally get it on the driver’s side 😂. We made it to Inverness at 9pm and we were STARVING after not eating all day but thankfully I remembered that @naturallystefanie always talks about Zizzi‘s in her videos and I had the most delicious vegan pizza...plus bruschetta and garlic bread. Carb loading right? 😂. 2 days until the marathon!! 😬😊🦕😍

Matcha tea 💚🍵One of my favoriete warm drinks. Anyone else enjoy matcha tea? I especially enjoy it in the morning before I get the day started or in the afternoon. This morning I had to switch around my strength and running training. Since I won’t have access to a gym tomorrow I went to do my strength training today, and my run tomorrow. Strength session was 1 hour and 40 minuets with some time spent on the spinning bike. This weekend I’m going to the Dutch islands for my uncles wedding. It’s been a while since I’ve been there. No proper dinner last night and I totally felt the difference this morning. My mind wanted to go faster but my body couldn’t. I need to study more on how to fuel my body correctly, otherwise all my future long distance runs are going to be a real pain ⚡️

Since yesterday night I feel angry because of work (reason why my dinner sucked). I was really hoping this morning run will help me think about something else and take away that feeling of injustice. It did! I feel so much better now 🌸

In the 1970s the city planned to expand Hunter College by demolishing the building. After much debate, the facade of the precinct was landmarked, but the old prison cell and the rest of the back of the building were taken over. The 19th Precinct uses the upper floors of the old fire headquarters and the facade has been untouched. Inside, a memorial wall commemorates policemen whose lives were lost during 9/11

Qué iluso de mí parte pensar durante años que por correr algunos dias 10km  y otros hacer cambios de ritmo durante 40' o 50' estaba saliendo de mí zona de confort.

This Saturday, 9.22.18, is the 20 week mark to my next big RACE DAY - the PHX-Mesa Marathon.  Today was my first speed workout with my Coach since my Labor Day half marathon and my left quad got angry with me.  The leg isn’t 100% yet, but running is improving.  Today was 3x1mi Tempo Intervals and it was hard.  That last one was really hard.  But, that’s the point.  Building strength and speed.  Improving little by little as you progress through the training and towards that next goal. After school I just did more homework and got ready for tomorrows class 😜 Its all good and fun though! Luckily I had a @lifefoodofficial bar to get me through (these are 100% my favorite raw bars) id prefer making my own but these are just as good. Very pure ingredients and taste awesome! For those of you that don’t know, @charlie.grove and I have been training for our third half marathon (in the last ten years 😉). We have dabbled in running here and there but never consistently. We have really enjoyed getting back into it. I was posting my running stuff on a different IG page but decided to just mesh it all together on here since it has become a big part of my life. I absolutely LOVE running. Even when it sucks and is difficult. 😜 I’m not fast (yet😉), but it has helped me manage my insane stress levels with school, family and life. My mood has never been better. Challenging myself has been so good for me and hopefully can inspire someone else. Hope you enjoy this photo of us from several weeks ago when we ran 5 miles together as a family. As relieved as I was to give my 🍑 a break, this upper body workout kicked in quick!! Especially the weighted shoulder press jacks!!

Super stoked I used 10lbers the entire workout. The last round went a bit slower but I finished 💪🏼😅
