I've become the guy with the tripod at the gym. Everyone whispers "he's doing it for the gram". I'm doing it for my coach and for me. I had to resubmit my videos and my instruction was "keep shoulders in line with your hips". Until I saw the video I thought that meant even higher! Nope. Lower. It's important when you train that you video yourself. How else are you going to correct and progress?
More planche work!
Getting a planche can be quite daunting and most people don’t know where to start. The best way to achieve a planche is actually to practise a multitude of drills which get your body used to how weight will be distributed and how best to balance.
Here we can see Dayne practise an assisted planche. By folding his legs in he shortens the lever so that can experience the planche position without having too much weight to counterbalance. This is great for those still in the early stages learning how to lean forward. You can see that Dayne’s form breaks a little - some more hollow work will help sort this out! Assistance when learning the planche can be the difference between being able to get into the position and not - so don’t be afraid to ask for help!
You’ll probably also notice that I stumble a bit while assuring here... just goes to show that the teacher can struggle too! 😝 Great work Dayne! 🙌👍💪
My only goal at the gym tonight was to not get hurt =✅ . Stuck to low, slow and controlled. Worked some more on planche lean pushups. That last position was tough! Video is In fast forward but you can still see the grind on the last one. I love when a rep is that hard and you get through it, very gratifying! Finding out what you’ve got and how far you can push yourself outside of your comfort zone. #planchework#calisthenics#pushups#plancepushups#core#abs#triceps#gymmotivation#slidethendrop#fridaynightfun @incomeda_daily I tried to recreate your video 😊, lots of good beginner planche stuff on your page.
#planchework . I feel like I’ve plateaued on my planche journey and it’s time to step it up.
I watched video 1 and realized how high my butt was. So video 2 was my fix of that. Video 3 is reverse leg lifts with 10lbs on each leg. You will be mine!
Tapping into our Strength for Day 6 #MindfulMarchYoga with our Mantra “I am Strong.” ❤️🙌🏻❤️
Trying to find my strength and that hold while lowering from handstand to chataranga for today’s asana and reminding myself...I am Strong! ...as gravity wins 🤣😂😂 Finding and feeling new areas of strength in the Mat is really exciting to me...but it is what that strength has helped me with off the mat that really keeps me going. When I’m faced with different challenges mentally, physically or emotionally I look to experiences on my practice and try to harness that strength and use it in daily life. Sometimes that means having the strength to let go of attachment, hold on to that which serves me or simply the strength to accept everything moment to moment 🙌🏻
Keep up the fantastic work and reflections for Day 6 #MindfulMarchYoga Challenge! 🤗❤️🤗

One of the exercises that I do to condition my shoulders and the bicep and forearm insertions. I'm making sure that my lower back is flat on the floor at all times. Bend your legs if you can't keep your back flat. I do this exercise at least twice a week.
L O L O S A N A ...If I started this when I intended I’d be flying by now!!!! Butttttt that Doesn’t take away from how good it feels to be on track. Sometimes the hardest part of being....Is alllowing the mind to catch up with the body. Once these two entities are working together ur able to right your wrongs. Change ur mistakes n build. Visualize. Plan. Execute. Allllllllllll 2018 #wintheday#planche#planchework#missingpiece
After ma todays planche work i decided to test out max planche lean. This what you can see in the picture - is the ond i held for 3 seconds. Im pretty suprised, positively. The friction may provide some assistance but still solid lean. What do you think?
