The guy who commissioned this pipe never got back to me, so after a long wait, I’m offering these pipes for sale to the general public. Both the straight and bent come from a single block of briar and are both featuring acrylic stems with delrin tenons. This straight pipe goes for $350. PM me if you’re interested in making this yours.
Germains Plum Cake is not what I expected. For one, it’s not in cake form, which I thought it would be. And secondly it tastes utterly awful! So much so its given me a headache 😅 I’ve wanted to try this blend for a few years now, so rather disappointed. Tasted dry and chemical laced. Is this normal for this blend? I heard good things about this one, and I doubt it’ll be one of those that’ll just grow on my over time. I’ve not been this turned off my a blend since the BW Bacon Old Fashioned.
McClelland Orientals Mixture No.14 - Tin description: Dark with Latakia and Black Virginias, deeply seasoned with Orientals, this is the classic full mixture.⠀
The only tin I have from McClelland. Bought this when I was starting on Oriental blends. Hopefully I can refrain myself hard enough for this to last a bit longer & only use it for celebration days. 😉⠀
Good day everyone & do enjoy a pipe for His glory!⠀

While it’s still freshly opened, here’s Capstan blue close up & in the tin (swipe left).⠀
From Smoking Pipes: Capstan Blue was originally created by W.D. & H.O. Wills of Bristol well over a century ago. It's remained a favorite to countless pipe smokers across generations (J.R.R. Tolkien having been one of its most noted aficionados), a testament to the quality of this fine Virginia flake.⠀
Happy Friday guys & do enjoy a pipe for His glory!⠀⠀
“O God, to the farthest corners of the planet people will stand in awe, startled and stunned by your signs and wonders. Sunrise brilliance and sunset beauty both take turns singing their songs of joy to you.” - Psalms 65:8 (TPT)⠀
