Tonight’s adventures with friends. Ghost Stories at the Market. We took a haunted tour of Pike Place Market tonight and learned about Seattle’s serial killers, dead man’s alley, the ghost of a blind boy, and the spectral smell of horse manure. Also there is some weird sculpture that if you rub it just right gives you “feels” but only if you are closer to nude...we might of misheard that last part 😁💖🤗 #pikeplacemarket#ghosts#hauntedtour#seattle#gumwall#closertonude#thisiswhatido#friends
They're here: huggable, home-sized Honey Buns, Cinnamon Buns, Maple Bears, and Eclair Bears (plus redesigned Donut Cats, too)!
We will have ONE of each big Pastry Pet available tomorrow at @pikeplacepublicmarket. We will not be accepting holds or set-asides on these items. First come, first serve! We will also be at the market Sunday and Monday, though there's no telling if these guys will be!
We REALLY wanted to have lots of Pastry Pets ready to go before the release, but our design, prototyping, production, and ancillary tasks (tag and packaging design, photography, listing creation, etc.) ended up requiring many more revisions and taking much more time than we anticipated. Rather than push back the release an entire week, we've decided to go ahead with the launch using the stock we have on hand. We hope to come to the market next weekend with a fuller fryer of big Pastry Pets, so please (Eclair) Bear with us until then!
And of course, you can adopt online right now at MarninSaylor.com!
Sleepless in Seattle for the first time!
Home of the Seahawks, Amazon, the Space needle, the original Starbucks, and some of the most delicious Asian food in the country! Folks recommend you bring your own sunshine though, and that’s quite alright because mama always told me to keep a stash of sunshine in my own bag.
This year that advice came in handy because everyday hasn’t been sunny...regardless of what my Instagram feed looks like. And I’ve embraced the truth that everyday will NOT be rainbows and unicorns, ever. The result of consistent and pure sun only leads to dry dessert lands, droughts, and fires. (Ask California). Sometimes the clouds will win and some days the rain will pour, and you may feel like your umbrella is not big enough to keep you dry. Other days and times, the only chance of the sun shining through will depend on you bringing the sun out yourself..
During stressful seasons
During school/student life
Those are the times when the weather man or the temperature doesn’t matter. Your perspective does.
Drop a ☀️ if you are at a place in life that has made you determined to bring your own sunshine!

Posters and postcards of Thomas’s watercolor, Marnin At The Market, are now available on the website (and we’ll have them at @pikeplacepublicmarket tomorrow)! Big Pastry Pets are coming shortly ... stay tuned!
