Made with 100% Moscato Bianco grapes from the Scrapona vineyard in the Bagnario Valley, Strevi, @marencovini’s Scrapona Moscato d’Asti 2017 is crisp and clean, finely balanced, refined, elegant and aromatic. It is super rare to find a single vineyard Moscato d’Asti, especially from such a special vineyard: Scrapona is essentially a giant, steep hill at about a 40° incline! What would you pair with this wine?
*bonus question: can you name the fruit pictured in the foreground?
It’s cold but the sun is out and we are feeling great!
The weather has been generous to us, and so is @azienda_agricola_bajaj when we talk about emotions and experiences from the area known as #Roero , one the most underestimated areas of the #Piedmont !
#Bajaj has a story, a long one, but there is a lot of fresh energy there with Adriano Moretti at the helm of the winery. #LotosFlos is their Nebbiolo Rosè that is out of this world!
As we’ve all been learning, between climate change and new techniques, #Rosè is really pushing the envelop when it comes to producing outstanding results, and this one is no exception. It’s a bright wine with ample acidity, but it is also has that nice touch of fruit, like green strawberries and cherries, that really take it to another level.
Bajaj is a small producer, but if you want some bottles you will have to hurry because they have the great problem of having some very loyal customers from all over the world that love their wines!
