“I love you, not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you, not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me.” —Roy Croft⠀
This couple was going to say their “I do’s” yesterday. But after family and wedding party flights were cancelled, they decided to be safe and postpone it until next month. This will surely be the party of the year! Adam & Tori, stay safe with your family. I cannot wait to see you again!!!
“Falling in love is easy. Falling in love with the same person repeatedly is extraordinary.”⠀
These sweethearts have been together since the ninth grade. And this weekend starts a new chapter. I’ve spent just a little time with them but I can see it will be a fun celebration and an exciting future. ⠀
Happy Monday.... oh wait! It’s Tuesday!! Happy Tuesday!! ⠀
It was a busy weekend. Friday wedding, Saturday morning portrait on Pinehurst #2 ..and a Sunday trip to VA for this fun engagement session! This was my first session on a boat. It was so much fun! I’m looking forward to this 2019 wedding!!!
I have to say that this proposal was so sweet! It was definitely a hot day and these two little sweeties had no idea what happened. They were just happy to have a little chocolate for all their good smiles. But then they saw their mommy with tears of joy....and a beautiful ring. Congrats to this wonderful couple and their family.
Happy Labor Day! I hope your day will be spent with loved ones!⠀
Happy Sunday! What a morning! I didn’t think I slept in but time must have sped up and I must have been in slow motion....along with my two girls, we tried our best to run around to get to church for song practice. I suddenly noticed my oldest at the stairs with tears in her eyes. She felt rushed...we stopped...we prayed...we headed out and arrived on time. It was an amazing morning but only because of God. He calms our hearts....I hope your Labor Day weekend is full of joy and peace...⠀
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. ... Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4: 9,10,12
I have fallen more than I care to remember. But I always remember the one who picks me up...this is a good reminder to always stay close. Love you, Lew.
Last night I laughed and I cried...I got to witness a renewing of vows after 50 years of marriage. I got to see a glimpse of their life and what they created....Day 1 to day 18,250...all that has happened in between. They shared a special day with family and friends and renewed their commitment. They walked out to “grow old with me”. They danced to “I can’t help falling in love with you.” ⠀
What a day! It was so inspiring. Here’s to many more!
