Beautiful afternoon to play in The Links Fall Classic! Look, there’s my ball on the green on #18 . I hit the ball poorly, but almost parred every hole. 17 pars and one bogey. Fortunately, my partner, Coby, picked up the slack.
Family collage of our trip. Top left is Glacier Point in Yosemite with Half Dome in the background. Going clockwise, Vernal Falls in Yosemite,
sequoia in Mariposa Grove in Yosemite, Alisomar Beach near Monterey, Lake Tahoe, and Nepenthe restaurant in Big Sur. Our eyeballs and senses have been spoiled!
Played with one of the GREATS today, Masahiro Kurimoto（JPGA President), his lovely wife Margie, and our GM Jim Shaw. We're working on getting the #PGAJLG started in Japan by having our first US team called Yokota #fujiflyers play their first team on the 13th. @pgajrleague
What an awesome weekend at the PGA JLG Regional Finals in Mohnton, PA. We got a chance to play against some really great teams, and gain some very valuable experience. My NJ League 8 All Stars didn’t get the results we hoped for, but the opportunity to be in that environment and experience competition at that level is something that I, and I am sure the kids, will never forget! A special congratulations to Delaware 1 and captain Dave Seeman for advancing to represent Region 2 in the National Finals!! EVERYTHING was done first class by the PGA Region 2 staff! #PGAJLG#JuniorGolf#ILoveTheKids#ProudCoach#WeWillBeBack#WhyNotUs
I teach my students the setup Tiger is demonstrating here for low chip shots, aka the bump and run. Stand the same distance away as a putt with the shaft more vertical like a putter. Ball positioned behind the trail foot then simply make a putting motion. Most are shocked how close they should be to the ball for this shot. And, they’re also shocked at how easy it is.
Juniors playing two games. Stoplight and Inch Worm. Both games are good for self-discovery. Stoplight helps with aim and distance control. The circles move back every time you make one. Inch worm, the goal is to hit each putt past the last one. If you leave it short or hit another ball you start over. See how many putts you can fit between 20-30’.
Congrats to our Orlando @pgajrleague All Star team + certified instructor/team captain Cori McAuliffe on winning the North Florida sectional championship! They now advance to regional play at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, where the winner will head to nationals! #TheseKidsAreGood#MondayMotivation#PGAJLG
