Really wanted to wait until I got the perfect picture but I just can’t wait because we got the most AMAZING Hanukkah gift from our Aunt Lishy 😍... Seriously can’t get over how perfect this painting is and how well @jsinvitations captured Bigs & Chy 🙌🏻 I’m so in love with it!!
I have to take a second to share this video.
It was sent to me tonight - it’s the recipient of the two cat ornaments that I painted last week. They were given to her as a gift.
After I sat here and cried my eyeballs out, I realized that what I’ve been feeling is so spot on. I am so thankful that I have learned to embrace my talent and share it with the world (in a sense). If you know me personally, you know that I am not ever cocky in what I create. - but I’m awkward and uncomfortable and critique myself to no end.
In this moment - I am filled with joy and pride.
I hope you are proud Nanny. Golden Gardenia is in memory of you and all you have always told me I could be. 🌱❤️ It is not about money, or making a living, or being the “best” and competing. It’s about making people happy, going out of your way to do something kind, and creating friendships with people and making a difference. To know that I was the person behind the that excitement is enough for me ❤️ -
Meet Levi, a handsome cat who was ordered and will be gifted for Christmas to a lucky guy in New York 🎄 ⠀
Thank you again to everyone who ordered work from me this season, it is being painted or on its way. Mailing out three pet portraits today 🙀⠀
Thank you also to everyone here on IG who’s been so supportive with your words and it really means a lot to me, to hear that my work has made your smile or think in a different way, and I really do take your suggestions and considerations to heart 🖤⠀
This was one of my first "derpy" paintings! 🐕🐕🐕 I originally had these dogs on a utility box in Mission Valley in 2014 or 2013. I wanted to have them around after the box got painted over or tagged. When I was designing the box, I noticed how many people in the neighborhood had dogs and even painted some locals on there! (Its acrylic on wood canvas)
