Love a good skipp workout! Had a timer on for 12 rounds of 30 seconds with 10 seconds rest. Each round up to the 6th round I incressed the speed, then at round 6 started back at slow speed and sped it up each round until the timer ended at the 12th round! Whats your workout today ?

How come no one told me there would be so much paperwork?!😂 Cant I just kick butts?! A nutritious energy packed breakfast gets me through my morning and this is my current fave- a scrambled egg, pan fried mushroom, wilted spinach and a roasted tomato that I whacked in the oven the night before.

Circuit workouts are a great way to fit in the most amount of work in a short amount of time. 
They're also a fantastic way to get your cardio in if you don't want to do a "cardio specific" workout by simply taking shorter breaks.

◾Back extension 
Adjust the reps accordingly and increase each week if possible. 
This workout took me just under 35 minutes completing 4 rounds including warm up, cool down and stretching. 
Now I'm going to go for a nice walk with the family 😁

They're also a fantastic way to get your cardio in if you don't want to do a "cardio specific" workout by simply taking shorter breaks. Ok, so apart from the fact that I don’t believe that anyone should ever be a “dieter”, this is a great representation from Carter Good on how to be successful in achieving sustainable fat loss. 
Its all about your mindset. 
Im not going to lie and tell you that you can change your mind set over night - especially when you may have formed destructive eating habits over many many years.

BUT! It is achievable!

You CAN change your mindset by making small changes slowly. Once you have made a change and it has become “the new norm”, make a new change. Once that change also becomes a habit, make a new one and so on and so forth.

My clients have made small changes to their mindset by ✅no longer having sugar in their cup of tea ✅drinking more water during the day ✅increasing their daily vegetable intake ✅no longer having dessert every night
✅having a protein shake on their lunch break at work instead of ducking out to get fast food.
✅reducing their weekly alcohol intake. 
Changing your mindset is not a race and shouldn’t be treated like one. 
Slow and steady Peeps and you WILL get there.

If you're new to working out or are short of time, try this basic workout:

4 sets, 20 reps
◾Body weight squats
◾Lat pull down
◾Body weight lunges (10 each leg)
◾Knee push ups

Adjust the reps accordingly and increase each week if possible. 
Complete this basic full body workout along with 15-20 minutes on the treadmill.

Excuses are comforting. They make us feel better about our decisions and help us justify our choices.  The reality though,  we are only ever kidding ourselves.  The following is a selection of the excuses I used to tell myself (If I listed all of them, we’d be here for hours!). 💢Its too cold outside. 💢Im too tired before work and after work to train. 💢Ive eaten so much crap food this week, so really whats the point til starting before next week? 💢I will start training when I look better in active wear. 💢Im having a big night out with friends on the weekend so I will start next week.  And before We know it, next week has turned into the week after which turns into the month after and all we are doing is getting more unhealthy and unhappy and angry and frustrated.  So.
It starts today.  Make a change.  Just one change.  It doesn’t matter what it is - drink more water or switch from white bread to brown or take the stairs at work instead of the elevator, or walk the dog for an extra 10 minutes more than usual.  It doesn’t matter what is is, JUST MAKE ONE CHANGE.
Three days later, add in another change.  Small consistent changes is all it takes to start seeing big long lasting results. I was on the focus pads and took the ladies through several different drills....and was almost put on my butt on several occasions!! There are some seriously strong chicksters in my classes and more often than not, I was hanging on for dear life. The energy, enthusiasm and effort was just AWESOME!!! 🥊🥊Note to self- watch out for the quiet, polite, nice ladies. Once they put on a pair of gloves, they become vicious, enraged and brutal 🥊🥊 I got smart with the boys and put them on the gloves AND the pads - which was a very smart move on my part (#fastlearner). Well done everyone- Once I have feeling back in my hands and arms, boxing will be back. The classes were so full of energy!! Absolute blast!!! Another big shout out to Neelu Maharjan for putting together the prettiest grazing board!! The food looked incredible (ALMOST too good to eat!!) and tasted amazing! (All that gorgeous food came from our friends at Napoli Mercato ❤) A big thanks to all of YOU who came along, laughed, danced, shimmied and sweated your little butts off!! You guys made it an incredible night!!!

And lastly to my team (including the little people who modelled their butts off in their RB outfits!!) Team work makes the dream work ❤. Thanks for a seamless, well run, fun (and long) day hahaha!!! We were still cleaning and setting up for Bootcamp long after you all left. They are always prepared to go above and beyond. Have I smashed my goals I set myself for a yr since Benji was born?
Goal 1: I wanted to get to 12 months of brestfeeding, but our journey ended last month. I put myself down as not reaching the 12 month goal, but after a good kick up the bum from some friends I was able to see what an achivement 10 months was! 
Goal number 2. Loose baby weight ... well I have lost weight but not back down to what I was at the start of the pregnancy! After more words from my close friends I relised I needed to take my own advice and tell myself the scales just a number and to stop focusing on that. It took me a good week to get the number out of my head and realise I am smashing exercise goals (I can do a handstand for 1 min) 💪. Goal 3 Enjoying my son! Well I am smashing that one! We have had the best fun laughing, cuddling ... maybe just not when we are screaming or crying haha!
