I recently downloaded and rewatching the Bungou Stray Dog: Dead Apple movie and boy, did it bring back the Akutugawa feels. Everything I'd felt the first time watching it in the theatre came flooding back like nostalgia. I really love Akutugawa though. He's certainly my second favorite character in the series. He's such a bad ass. The way he faced off and established dominance over Rashamon was such an epic show down. I really enjoyed how agile and quick thinking he was in combat. It was also nice to see Akutugawa and Kyouka team up again too. I think he's very respectable and a great adviser to her. Akutugawa is very disciplined, has so much life experience acquired from trauma and his line of work. He's very tough mentally, emotionally and physically. I love the way he can communicate what's important and is a man of few words. I love his directness. He can be keenly observant, and at other times, passionately emotional. The way he turned anger into a fuel for battle is impressive. He's a formidable opponent. 💪
This time around, I tried a few different make up techniques and blended brown with grey hues for facial contours. I also faintly outlined my cheekbones, something I never do. This time, I intentionally didn't shave my eyebrows off, since several canon resources showed faint hair lines drawn into a furrow.
I'm grateful the shitty parking lot had one decently lit area to take this photo. I tried a new coffee house while waiting for my ride home from the Halloween maze. So many cast members gave me compliments tonight. A lot of the female casts kept saying how attractive I was and the guys kept playing with my hair. I'm glad the monsters felt right at home with me. It was an amusing bonding experience. ☆
Happy hump day peeps from where I’d rather be!! Curled up on a chair with a good book 🤓. ⠀
I am currently going through a phase of re-watching some of the series that I loved during my teenage and uni years. Hellllooooo Twilight and Hunger Games! (Boy does that make me sound young 🤦🏼♀️).⠀
I’m always looking for new books to read so I wanna know what your favourite book series is!! I’m gonna make a list of what to read next! ⠀
Enter the Imaginaria, When you think you are going to a destination in south Texas but you are really entering someplace more like the glorious Middle Earth.
That is the power and allure of Big Bend National Park, the "Imagenaria del Sur" (as I playfully call it); where my mind can feel free to run wild like it did when I was a child and create epic tales of fiction from the natural glory that exists there.
