I've been stuck in Kuroshitsuji hell lately and decided to FINALLY watch the train wreck that was the season two anime. It was actually a pretty interesting concept, if taken from a completely AU perspective, seperate from the real story. I found it hilarious that in the end, Claude was intoxicated by Ciel Phantomhive's soul as well. I almost felt bad for Alois' one sided adoration for Claude. It was so strong, overwhelming and powerful. He just wanted Claude to return his devotion and love, which never came to fruitation. I was happy Alois was reunited with his dead brothers soul. It was also an amusing plot twist that Sebastian never obtained Ciel's soul AND was stuck serving him for eternity, without escape, nor reward for merit. It made me laugh; such a cruel irony. I was mostly relieved to learn my FAVORITE Indian duo got small cameos. Poor Soma was heartbroken learning of Ciel's amnesia and eventual "death". It surprised me how emotional Agni was too, moved by Soma's devotion to Ciel. It was a fun ride while it lasted. After a decade, I can finally say I understand where all the hype was and how glad I am I missed it, haha.
As always, a huge thanks to the time and effort of everyone involved in this huge project. Everyone put in a good fight to fly into the convention from other states, overcome time schedule conflicts and wardrobe malfunctions. There were so many helping hands backstage, from multiple photographers, to spot checkers and roadies helping with last minute adjustments, set changes and protecting personal belongings. It was a labor of love, with such a lively atmosphere and multiple personalities interacting. I was really stunned to recieve so many positive compliments as Soma by hotel passerbys. It really gave me a confidence boost and energy to boot! ☆
I finished Code:Realize - Another Story and boy, it was such a long and exciting adventure. There were so many plot twists and dramatic scenarios Lupin's gang encountered. It was funny how dramatically Queen Victoria sighed over the damage report from Liverpool's car chase and hotel reconstruction fees. Van Helsing was excited to resupply his ammo, but all of Saint Germain's cruise ship looting became royal collateral. It was super cute watching Del-chan and Cardia's reactions to tasting ice cream for the first time. I really wanted to see the full photograph that included Passy! Being able to see everyones lively interactions again was so much fun. I've really missed and love Lupin so much. 🎩❤💰🔫

One of the happiest moments for me at #animelosangeles last January was having the opportunity to meet up with my wonderful kouhai. It didn't matter if the weather was freezing, or that we had to have a shouting match over the phone to hear each other over traffic. To finally find each other and to be greeted with a running, colliding bear hug literally brought me the biggest smile. I was so happy to be led through a labyrinth of confusing condos, making our way through the biting cold to their temporary lodging. I was gifted an opportunity to meet their roommates and start new friendships. I shared delicious, steamy coffee and stories of our various experiences endured while apart. We learned more about each other, in depth, while also sharing laughter and tears. The warm embraces, silly selfies and story telling are such precious memories for me, even now. I'm so happy I could also see @isaisanisa, even if they refused to remove themselves from behind a glass door. Their "Maki-chan" senses were alert and not having it, whaha. It's crazy to realize that in another month, ALA will be returning and with it, even more adventures and encounters. I really cherish my important people and Gretchen is by far one of the important, impacts on my life. I'm so grateful we were able to collide in this vast universe. Gretchen is constantly a source of confidence and strength; a mirror to push me forever forward towards the dazzling sun and likewise, the projected image of my self worth. Thank you for the memories, my Manami~! I can't wait to see you again! ☆
The weather lately has been perfect for wearing all the outerwear I own. I’ve always been a big fan of outerwear and even have designed some for bigger and smaller retailers. Even though in LA we don’t get much of a chance to always wear it, it’s definitely a staple of mine always day to night, anywhere. Happy Friday & stepping into much colder weather this weekend 🌬✨#fallfashion#falllayers#falloutfit#outerwear
The great gentlemen thief, Arsene Lupin~! 🎩💰❤📰
I absolutely love his smirks, his mischievous grins and his dauntless laughter. He's so bold, brazen and self accured. He leaps headlong into danger with a fearless grin or amused chuckle and fights overwhelming odds with skills. He's remarkably impressive in combat and handsome to boot. I love his deduction skills and his ability to rouse the spirits of his comrades. He's always the life of the party, with his dramatic stunts and near death experiences. His life is full of vivid colors that have painted others world's anew. He's an inspirational, natural leader with a strong sense of justice to protect the weak or suffering, and to fight against the corrupted of mind and heart, especially wealthy aristocracy, drug abuse and shameful upstarts abusing women, children, or elderly citizens of Steele London. Arsene Lupin will certainly steal your treasures and your hearts~ ♡
