FORM ✅ How do you check your form? Whether you’re just starting out or have been lifting for years — you always want to keep an eye on your form to identify any weak links or cheats you.
🎥 Since I usually train alone — video helps me. It’s been exciting to work on heavier lifts with my shoulders again but I noticed a thing or two in this max strength military press press video. Anyone else see it? 😉

An original medicine ball that’s been in my family since the 50’s. My mother’s uncle used it to train for boxing. So cool! Also impressive how well it’s held up. Goes to show you how things used to be made to last, now they’re made to break down 🤷♂️

Another packed class today. Have you tried Title Boxing Club Naples? What are you waiting for schedule your first class free and see why so many people chose Title Boxing Club as their home for a great workout!
You know I give it to you straight!
Seriously, enough with excuses. No one believes them and you shouldn’t either.
There are a million different ways to be successful in the world today, so that you can live life on your terms and the life you’re called to. The biggest reason most people aren’t is because they are scared of the work it’s gonna take.
I don’t know which path you will choose. I have found one that works for me so that I can be home with my family on a daily basis, have an impact in the lives of others, work from my phone or laptop, travel as much as I want and allows me to control my own schedule, all while making a very nice living.
Now STOP! Don’t for one second think what you’re thinking right now. ‘Oh well that’s nice Brent, I’m glad you found something that works so perfectly for you, but that will never happen for me.’
You’re right, it won’t, unless you stop believing your excuses, start making a change and put in the work for the life you’ve always wanted.... It is possible for anyone, including you! #IAmProof

Exercise works because you place your body under stress and it strengthens itself to prepare for the duress of your next workout.
While you’re doing it, it should feel uncomfortable.. But it shouldn’t be unbearable and it shouldn’t feel painful.
Post workout soreness is to be expected especially for someone new to exercise but it shouldn’t be debilitating.
A training program should be progressively more challenging.
If you’re starting at full speed right out of the gate, you aren’t giving your body a chance to acclimate to your new lifestyle.
If the reward for showing up and working hard to better yourself is losing one of your sick days at work, you are less likely to be training for life.
For a gym newbie, your early workouts should be dedicated to learning perfect form, correcting muscular imbalances, building core strength and elevating your heart rate.
That’s more than enough to handle for your first two to three months.
You’ll feel uncomfortable while you are working out but you won’t feel like you’re about to die during your sessions, you won’t feel like you wish you were dead in the days after your workouts and you’ll notice a difference in your body within a month.
As your body adapts, you can increase the intensity of your workouts incrementally over time.
A trainer/client relationship needs to be one built on trust and if you feel like you are hesitant to entrust this person with your body, there are so many other, excellent trainers out there.
If you feel this situation is salvageable and want to continue working with this particular trainer, you should voice your concerns and see if he’s willing to adapt your program to meet your actual fitness needs.
Sometimes, we can't help it - we go through our workout sessions and homework, and it's just the same-old, same-old. Well, we're here to mix it up and throw a spanner in the work(out)s! For clients, the #MidWeekMixUp adds an extra exercise on to the end of each round of your homework workouts. Each week, we'll work different muscle groups, increase difficulty, or just give you something new to try!
This week, we're upping your core and legs game, with CROSSOVERS! These will push your core strength to the limit, as well as working your thighs:
1. Lie on your back on a mat with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Raise your hips, place your hands palms down under your glutes (bum), arms straight. This is your starting position.
2. Always keeping your core engaged (tummy pulled in tight!) and your arms straight, raise your feet off the ground, keeping them apart. 3. Keeping control, cross your feet over one another, alternating them.
4. For clients, do four 1 minute sets - added on to your homework exercises!
Give it a try! Are there any workouts you're struggling with? Do you want to make your workouts tougher? Or are you just bored of the same daily exercises? Let us know!

People think that Personal Training is getting beasted for an hour then not hearing from their Trainer until their next session.
Personal Training is about supporting the people you are working with - inside and outside the gym.
People have come to us with body transformation goals that they didn’t get with their previous PT’s.
The reason; they didn’t have the support system they have with us. Supporting clients with their training, nutrition and making them part of a community is why our clients get results.
