Doing the same thing over and over again is monotonous and boring.
It also sets us up for rigid thoughts and behaviours which lead to heightened levels of anxiety and stress.
Taking a risk and trying something new has a number of benefits:
🤩 it allows us to learn,
😁it builds resilience and bravery and
🤗 it can give us an escape from the mundane everyday ness of our lives.
Challenge: Can you do something differently today?
@raamraces : Brazilian Ricardo Arap just passed by the neighborhood as he leaves Breaking Away county. He made his way over to me to slap me five (as did his SAG vehicle). Ricardo is my new hero and the true HEART of this race. He is the Lanterne Rouge of the men on this journey and is trying to make his way to Annapolis, MD before the cut off on June 25th. He has participated in this race several times starting in 1998 (yes, 20 yrs ago!) and has finished as a team member, and also not finished as a team member nor as a solo rider. He is trying to make it there this year as the first Brazilian to do so solo! Let's all cheer him on, send good vibes, and hope he gets there this time around! #perserverance#superstar#heart#imnotcryingyourecrying#raam#mostamazingthingtocomethroughbloomingtonyearafteryearandgounnoticedbysomany#goricardo
A few weeks ago I was asked
Who are you?
It’s something I wasn’t prepared to answer.
Quite honestly I stood stumped on how to begin explaining who I was, I wanted to over complicate it, list all that I had been through, make up something that sounded socially acceptable.
Here’s the deal, it’s okay to not have all the answers-BUT we should know who we are & what we stand for.
I decided I wanted to be brave, fearless & able to fail forward while leading and providing for my family. I wanted to become a better wife, mother, and human every single day.
I had to own my past and not let it control my future.
I want to be an inspiration for women everywhere to embrace their flaws, own their story, and truly love themselves.
I use to cram myself into a box to fit what I thought society wanted me to be and through this journey I’ve been able to bust out of the box and share who I truly am.
I Katy Rose Olson am strong, confident, fearless, inspiring, leader, Mom, wife, entrepreneur who fails forward, learns everyday, supports my team, provides beyond our basic needs, leads from the front & I AM A PRO CHAMPION 💖👑
It looks different for all of us. I was unable to sit up straight with my legs straight out in front of me and now 2 months of (almost) daily yoga I am able to do this! It may not look like much to many but to me it's a huge success. .
Don't let everyone else define your success there is only one person who can.
Happy happy Friday loves!!!! I hope everyone is having a phenomenal day. So I just wanted to share a little bit with you.
Perseverance, patience, and positivity!!!!!! Entrepreneurship is no where near easy. You must have these 3 qualities to get you through. I started my online fitness coach journey 4 months ago and have inspired and motivated a lot! It warms my heart and brings me joy to inspire others. Even if no one has signed up for a challenge with me directly, I have you thinking about your health which is the main goal. I thank each and everyone for your moral support!! 👀👀👀 When that weekly commission check from your online fitness business drops right before payday and you had no clue because all you did was help a friend increase her energy level by referring her to a special drink!! Who doesn’t want an extra $21 or more per week??? I know this may not be much to many BUT FOR ME BABY...... I am thankful, grateful and just so excited!!!! This is only the beginning

This quote is something that has been on my mind a lot lately. Through the past 4 years of my life, it has proved nothing but true that sometimes things have to get WORSE before they can get BETTER. And yes, while the journey may suck at times, it will turn you into a better and stronger human being.💪🏼 I have also learned along the way who was truly in my corner even on my darkest days and recognize the people who is not there for you on your journey. This can apply to many situations, chronic illness in my case, relationships, eating disorders, mental illness, schoolwork, etc. No matter what remember to keep your head up honey and take things one day at a time.☀️☀️ #quote#truth#stregnth#journey#perserverance#fighter#support#youcandoit#dontgiveup#rd2b#chronicillness
Tried to go out for a 5 mile run today after work, but my lack of sleep and poor nutrition caught up with me. I only got 2.5 miles in because my heart rate was high and my body felt fatigued. BUT that’s 2.5 miles that I still got in despite not living my healthiest lifestyle.
My goal for tomorrow is to get early and get in 45 minutes of cross training before my work breakfast at 8AM. For now, it’s time to shower and get ready to cheers on the Red Sox tonight. Go @redsox ❤️
Why don't we just stop doing the things we don't like? Think things through and just try to reduce the effort.
Step 2: Learn how to say no and stop with the things that bothers you.

Rejection hurts. Whether it’s in a relationship, a job opportunity, whatever it is, the fact of the matter is, it hurts. Especially when you have worked so hard to better yourself after rejection. When you are standing before someone, the best version of yourself you’ve ever been, and you are still get rejected. You began to wonder why you aren’t enough or what you did wrong. It hurts. It really does. But take your time to feel that. Let yourself feel hurt, sad, hopeless. But do not stay there, my friend. Process that and tell yourself, “I am enough. I am loved. My purpose comes from God, not the person who rejected me. And God will never forsake me.” It’s okay to be sad after rejection but you are worth so much more. Remember that. 🌱 #divorcedwomen#betteryourself#purposefulliving#blog#perserverance#rejection#hurt#MWPoetry
Life has thrown many obstacles at me which I personally feel would have crushed most. Some I survived on my own and others I made it through with the help of amazing people. My point is keep going. You may lose parts of yourself along the way that may never be replaced but you will gain perspective, understanding and possibly become a better version of yourself. “Man cannot remake himself without suffering, for he is both the marble and the sculptor “. #thoughts#growth#life#perspective#thoughtoftheday#perserverance#adversity#pain
