It feels like I'm digging a grave... Only a quarter of my hugelkultur dug out and I'm pooped. It may not look like much but this looks so good and satisfying to me. Next steps mulch, compost and to soil.
The sunset over the garden was stunning tonight.
Last year we installed a "Sunset Garden" at the west of our site. I can't wait to see it fill in with soft feathery plants that will look soft and glowy in the evening light.
Lay it in me, are you a sunset romantic or a sunrise early bird?? Obviously, I'm all about the sunset 😎🌅
Seems the time has come to be within my creative nature.I am all but One,on the stretch to freedom from the “dark”. My Heart is healing from major losses I have had. My Soul is crying for silence, of BEing, of eliminating the “noise” to get back to basics. I’m an Empath, a sensitive with gifts most would not understand. I must come to the simplicity of my creative spirit like a flower, tending it, and watching it grow.
As Rumi wrote, “…. listen quietly for a voice that will say, Be more silent. As that happens, your soul starts to revive.” May I be given the strength to let go what burdens my heart of late.May I find in silence of my garden .My psinting. My writings .There is a better place right now for me, to have my hands in creating something ,while my voice and the noise that surrounds me is silence
I am One with creation and bursting its breath in me.I yearn to be creating with my hands [not just with my eyes] and whats creative burstes into life in who I am.
In every moment, my higher self guides me graciously to allow myself to surrender to the flow of divine love…
I always fine myself and my thoughts not to far from a song from @williampcorgan, @smashingpumkins ,that fits how I feel in each moment. My life is just clips of his music that fill the viod of who I am.
If you wait I will wait
Taste I will taste
If you love I will love
Run I will run
To my last breath
Thank you, William.
I will to my last breath and all that I am...
Creation is my silence of life in all who we are

Students are KILLING it at a group design exercise at our #permaculture#design#course !!
In under 15 minutes they designed a #resilient#effecient#homestead that was water secure, oriented around the sun, wind, neighbours, animals, food production and more!
This is part of a 2 week course training individuals how to become adaptive humans... humans that can design #food systems, #home systems, and #community .

We love this post from PRC graduate and now Registered Acupuncturist Thalia (@tmc_calypso) 🌿 “I used to think that cosmetic alterations were superficial and people shouldn’t care so much about what they look like because it’s what’s on the inside that matters. I participated in the acu-sculpting cosmetic acupuncture course, mostly because I was looking for a unique stream of acupuncture to practice, but this experience gave me a very different perspective about cosmetics. I learned it’s not just about looks, it’s about attitude. When you look better you hold yourself with more confidence and that makes people treat you differently. This technique is used for facial rejuvenation, lifting and firming the skin, getting rid of cellulite and burning fat cells. Cosmetic acupuncture is non-invasive, has no side effects and actually benefits your body, mind and overall constitution.” Beautiful perspective on the practice of cosmetic acupuncture!✨📷: @birchandberries
#ComingSoon ... From the islands of #Trinidad & #Tobago ... QUIET REVOLUTION
by Rhonda Chan Soo "QUIET REVOLUTION," follows a group of everyday heroes who aim to give voice to permaculture ("the quiet revolution") in Trinidad and Tobago (T&T). Erle “the crazy runner” is a farmer, adventure racer, barefoot ultra marathoner, and now a major advocate for Permaculture in T&T. He was raised in non-farming African and Canadian urban settings, with no prior knowledge of the Caribbean landscape. Armed only with an old photocopy of a permaculture (“permanent agriculture/ culture”) manual, Erle set out to regenerate the land. Against a land history of fire damage, herbicide and pesticide use, his permaculture farm, Wa Samaki Ecosystems, is a hub for ecological farming and learning. ‘Quiet Revolution’ is a portrait of the community at Wa Samaki and their lifelong efforts to learn and practice permaculture amidst the dominant culture of conventional agriculture. The film is timely in that it was completed days before the passing of permaculture founder, Bill Mollison, whose wisdom punctuates the film.
I climbed up on our mini homemade watertower for this attempt at capturing the bean trellises this year, but a decent documentation photo of it all still eludes me. @ewokerson needs to get back out here with his drone I guess! Still can't really see the third trellis in this shot but the one my shadow is cast on is around 9 ft tall to the horizontal beam and the span is around 20 ft. Need to add another vertical brace soon to the center of the cross bars as the weight of the beans is gettin real! Maple sucker poles for structure and twine for the beans to climb. The garden can compost the whole structure once it dies. My wife @dubaye designed this and sowed the beans (many form beautiful seed saved from last year) and I just gotta say how happy I am to be learning all this with her! #reskilling#beans#midwestgarden#heirlooms#permaculture

We suffer from a #hallucination , from a false and distorted sensation of our own #existence as living organisms.
Most of us have the sensation that "I myself" is a separate center of feeling and action, living inside and bounded by the physical body.
A center which "confronts" an "external" world of people and things, making contact through the senses with a #universe both #alien and #strange .
Everyday figures of speech reflect this #illusion : "I came into this world."
"You must face #reality ."
"The conquest of #nature ."
This #feeling of being #lonely and very temporary visitors in the universe is in flat contradiction to everything known about man (and all other living organisms) in the sciences.
We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree.
As the Ocean 🌊 "waves" 🙋♂️• the Universe 🌌 "peoples." (Pupils) 👁
Every individual is an #expression of the whole #realm of #nature , a #unique action of the total #universe .
This #fact is rarely, if ever, experienced by most individuals.
Even those who know it to be true in theory do not #sense or #feel it, but continue to be aware of themselves as isolated "#egos " inside bags of skin.
