’Prologue - Deformation - Art gallery - Corner points’ will be the title of the new periodic exhibition, which will open in the Art Gallery of Paks at 5 p.m. on 17th August. The exhibition - opening by Katalin Aknai, art historian - consists of pieces from different collections, which were last exhibited more than 10 years ago. This way the gallery will be an extraordinary meeting point of generations, themes and forms and it also gives the opportunity to see through the hungarian contmporary art starting with the turning point of 1980's and 1990's up to the present.

The white stuff we know as sugar is sucrose, a molecule composed of 12 atoms of carbon, 22 atoms of hydrogen, and 11 atoms of oxygen (C12H22O11). Like all compounds made from these three elements, sugar is a carbohydrate. It’s found naturally in most plants, but especially in sugarcane and sugar beets—hence their names.

Sucrose is actually two simpler sugars stuck together: fructose and glucose. In recipes, a little bit of acid (for example, some lemon juice or cream of tartar) will cause sucrose to break down into these two components. 
If you look closely at dry sugar, you’ll notice it comes in little cubelike shapes. Pilcher, the word originates from the silver mines in Mexico in the 18th century, when taco referred to the little explosives of thin paper wrapped around gunpowder workers used to extract the ore.

Clarke helped to develop the technique of giving Rh-negative women inter-muscular injections of anti-RhD antibodies during pregnancy to prevent Rh disease in their newborn babies. On this tragic day in 1986 over 1,700 people died when a huge carbon dioxide cloud erupted from a volcanic lake in Cameroon. The cloud travelled as far as 25 km from the lake and was moving fast enough to flatten vegetation, including trees. The cloud reached the deep, iron-rich waters of the lake causing a dramatic change of color from blue to red as the iron (Fe) oxidized.
