I got a mispack in one of my #4ground buildings from #GreatEscapeGames so for assorted reasons of time and mood I decided to just personalise it. I may not have had the right fronts but I think I made a decent job of getting the colours to look natural and making a shell damaged roof. May yet add posters and work on the corners but for now surrounding it with sandbags from #Pendraken and calling it a forward HQ works for me.
Almost there... so that's British bombers, rifle bombers, trench raiders, rifles and officers added to plus German flamethrowers, 37mm anti tank gun and additional trench raiders.
Possibly just some more rifles and field guns to go... And some houses, ruins and hills.
#1914 Germans done! Just waiting on the HQ models because my first stand didn't stand out enough. So that's rifles, HMGs, artillery and cavalry for both the #British and #German sides.
Still a handful of late war infantry and buildings to get done but I'm on target...
So #Colours went well for me this year. #Whippet tanks done in no time, German infantry based, resin village cleaned up and the air war aspect sorted with "Duel of aces" from Tumbling dice with their associated #3mm aircraft range. To get smaller now I have to cross over to "naval scale". I may yet do it...
(I'm not mentioning the winter #airborne army from #Warlordgames I accidentally picked up either... #Focus !)
This American army arrived at Pendraken HQ last month, based up for BKC. We'll be using these in some new photos for the ruleset. Painted by the excellent JAD Designs. #pendraken#10mm#wargaming#wwii#american
We've got the talented Kev Rouse working on our 19th century European ranges at the moment. The first painted batch to arrive at Pendraken HQ included the Bavarians, Hanoverians, Prussians and Wurttembergers! #pendraken#10mm#wargaming
