It’s Chile season in New Mexico! The air is perfumed with the smell of roasting green chiles and the ristra vendors are all stocked up with fresh, bright red chile ristras! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Not sure who took this pic, maybe T. Harmon Parkhurst.
When your friend is a awesome boss babe, who has the most awesome polka-dot horse, plays banjo, and has the cutest style, you naturally NEED to photograph her and her awesome boyfriend together 😭 .
Ok. So this was our first year at the roundup. I found approximately ZERO INFO online about the best place to sit so I defaulted to middle of the stadium first row. This resulted in some pretty epic shots since we were so close, but I would choose differently next year in order to see more (especially with small kids). Much of what goes on is in the center of a giant ring. The cowboys are usually sitting or standing in a line blocking the action. So I would suggest center (blocks N-U) and somewhere midway up the seats like J-O or so. Basically you need to get up high enough to see over the ground floor action. We were right by the roping chutes and across from the bull riding chutes so I liked the centrality of our location. #p#pendletonoregon#pendleton#pendletonroundup#pendletonroundup2018#rodeo#rodeos#oregon#oregonexplored#oregonrodeo#horses#carriage#horse#horsesofinstagram#horselover
