After a 1.5+ months off any kind of Barbell squats (front and back) & Deadlifts, I figured it’d be a good day to get back to it

Thing is after a chiropractor check up and a few Feldenkrais sessions with @feldenkraismoyra I was told there was a bit of overuse with some lower back (lumbar) muscles (which required me to do some dry needling by @altmap to activate them after every time I did DLs).
_
During that time - on break - I worked on improvement of my pelvic movements and hip mobility, and also opening up my lats to improve lat mobility too. My lats are also tight but working with @cleaearnshaw to get them more mobile
_
Today’s squats sessions was a light one which started with 3 warm-up sets of as many reps till you feel “warmed-up” then 5 sets of 10,6,6,3,1 reps of which the first 2 sets were Box squats. 
_
In the above video I was on the last set, for 1 rep but I had 1 more in the tank so why not? 🤷🏾‍♂️ From now on it’s slow progression with more emphasis on getting my core stronger and my lats mobility better. 
My Glute activation at the moment is great so more work on PELVIS, LATS & OVERALL CORE STRENGTH

📍Ja ir bijis liels mazuļa svars vai liekais svars grūtniecības laikā, tad vēdera muskuļi, saites un fascijas tikušas iestieptas ļoti spēcīgi, kā rezultātā šīs struktūras zaudē savu elasticitāti un nespēj vairs atgūt sākotnējo formu.

📍Ja bijušas 2 vai vairāk dzemdības, vēders ticis iestiepts atkārtoti un, diastāzes risks palielinās, jo audiem mūsu ķermenī ir savas fizioloģiskās robežas, un katrai sievietei tās ir citas. Sava loma ir arī gēniem.

📍Saišu hipermobilitāte ir vērojama cilvēkiem, kuriem ir pārmēru lokanas locītavas. Ja sievietei ir hipermobilitāte, tad pastāv arī lielāks diastāzes risks, jo linea alba (vēdera muskuļu savienošanās vieta pa viduslīniju) ir veidota no saistaudiem. .

📍Sievietēm pēc 35g.v. mainās muskuļu tonuss, mainās arī ķermeņa hormonālā darbība. Līdz ar to tas ietekmē gan muskuļu, gan saistaudu spējas atgriezties sākotnējā formā. .

🙏🏻Mīļās sievietes, šie ir tikai diastāzes riski. Tie nebūt neapgalvo, ka pēc trešā bērniņa iznēsāšanas vai tad, ja dzemdības ir pēc 35g.v. noteikti būs diastāze. Tā nav. Katras sievietes ķermenis darbojas savā individuālā un īpašā ritmā. .

🌸Mans šodienas aicinājums – ja esat bērniņa gaidībās un ir kāds no augstāk minētiem punktiem, tad grūtniecības laikā būtu ieteicams ievērot dažus nosacījumus, ko nedarīt, lai šo diastāzes risku nepalielinātu, bet gluži pretēji – ar pareiziem vingrinājumiem samazinātu. .

🌟🌟STRENGTHENING🌟🌟
Here is a great exercise for hip stabilization and core strengthening, combining balance and control✅. Set up a pillow or folded towel on a flat surface and kneel on it.  With your other leg extended forward, lift it off of the floor ⬆️, and carry it back about 45 degrees. Repeat moving to 90 degrees, then bring the leg back forward, with focus on maintaining a neutral pelvis and stable upper body. 💡If this is too challenging, lower the leg or remove the object from beneath the knee to increase stability💡. You can do this while watching TV as a great exercise to improve balance when dancing on one leg, such as grande battement in ballet😉! ——————————

QUESTION❓ Have you experienced lower back pain and what are some of your tips that ease the pain? 
My lower back pain has reared its ugly head or rather telling me to slow down. Here are my tips on how I ease my discomfort during this busy 🎅🏽 festive season. 
Reverse table top. Hold your core, extend your leg and toe tap. This strengthens your back, builds strong abs and hip flexors. 
Core curl up. Strengthen your transverse abdominal muscle! Includes the diaphragm, pelvic floor and a lumbar muscle called the multifidus which are key players for good posture and movement and for keeping the back pain away.

The bridge. It strengthens your low back and hip muscles, helping stabilize your spine whilst activating and lifting up your glutes! 
I finished off with a savasana pose which is known as a great way to calm the mind, reduce stress and fatigue, lower blood pressure, relieve headache pain, and improve sleep. 
Please take care of your body and listen to it. Ensure you are drinking plenty of water and have enough magnesium in your body.

Many of us have lost postural control both statically and dynamically over our pelvic position as we move through life. We commonly see a lot of excessive anterior tilt stemming from a lack of glute and abdominal control of the pelvis. Engaging these muscles while finding neutral spine is the first step to regaining that control!

Did you know your uterus has an optimal position, and that it can sometimes be tipped or tilted too far forward, backwards, left or right? In my case, I could tell mine was tending towards a retroflexed position (tipped back) from some symptoms I was having. Sure enough, she was tilted a little back and towards the right.

She combines Mayan abdominal massage with full body massage (paying special attention to areas of the body that may be overcompensating or holding excess tension). 🦅Bird-Dog🐕 This is an exercise people are often assigned in physical therapy and rehab.  We also see versions of this in pilates and other movement modalities.  This can be a great exercise or it can be useless- it all just depends on HOW you do it.  Tag someone who could use this! .

This exercise can be amazing for stability and core strength if you have good body awareness and move with intention.  As is the case with most exercises.  We are often asked if *blank* exercise is good or bad.  It comes down to HOW you do the exercise, why you are doing it and what the goal is. .
.
When you set up on all fours make sure you knees are right under your hips and your hands are under your shoulders.  Spread your fingers wide and press into the ground as if you are trying to touch the spine to the ceiling.  Apply the armpit rotation we always teach.  Reach with the outstretched hand as if you are trying to touch the wall in front of you.  Extend the back heel to do the same.  Be sure you are not dropping a hip down or allowing the pelvis to shift and move.

Move SLOWLY and with intention.  Focus on being as stable as possible.  Notice any shifting the body at all and really work to engage your muscles to minimize that.  Imagine yourself on a skewer that enters the outreached hand, goes through the crown of your head and comes out that extended heel.  No arching or rounding of the lower back.  Maintain a neutral pelvis.  This can be a super challenging exercise when done correctly. .

⚠Durante el #embarazo, las curvas naturales de la #columna #vertebral se ven alteradas para poder soportar el aumento de peso y seguir garantizando su dinámica y su estabilidad➡El tema es que, finalizado el embarazo, muchas veces el dolor continúa como consecuencia de varios factores que les cuento ahora mismo:

👉Es importante conocer por qué se da y, lo mejor, saber que tiene solución!😁
.
📌Por un lado, la zona #lumbar duele porque la musculatura abdominal está muy relajada y entonces la espalda se sobrecarga en exceso, contracturandose📌Otro factor es la falta de potencia de los glúteos que, en condiciones normales, estabilizan la #pelvis y la articulación sacro-iliaca. Así, la zona lumbar no tiene un sostén adecuado y esto provoca dolor en la espalda baja y glúteos📌Por otra parte está el aumento de peso. Una vez que te sientas recuperada y con ganas, podes empezar a hacer alguna actividad física suave y #consciente para que las articulaciones no se tornen rígidas e ir alcanzando un peso adecuado para esta nueva etapa de tu vida📌Por último, los cambios hormonales que se dieron en la #gestación provocan que se distiendan los ligamentos que conectan la pelvis y la columna; esto también influye en la falta de estabilidad y dolor de espalda baja y piernas.

✋Ademas, se suma la postura en la cual estamos de pie o sentadas, pero eso es otro tema...Como ven, son varios factores y más de una pasamos por esto después de uno o más embarazos, no?

🔶️Popularne i jedno z lepszych ćwiczeń do kształtowania bicepsa, ale także w odpowiedni sposób wykonane super pod kątem stabilizacji łopatki i stabilizacji antyrotacyjnej.
🔵Aby zoptymalizować efekty pod każdym kątem należy, pilnować spiętych pośladków i mięśni brzucha, co pozwoli wyeliminować "bujanie się", poprawiając pracę bicepsów, a także kształtując nasz "core".
🔴Ustawienie łopatki w stabilnej pozycji (retrakcja i depresja) zabezpieczy obręcz barkową jednocześnie kształtując jej stabilność.
⚫Trening ramion (biceps i triceps) warto robić nie tylko w kulturystyce, ale także pod kątem zdrowotnym, wymienione mięśnie mogą wpływać na zdrowie i ustawienie naszych barków/łopatek, a także odgrywają bardzo ważną rolę w wielu sportach np. koszykówka, siatkówa, sporty walki. Jak wyżej napisałem przy prawidłowej technice wiele z nich może nawet wpływać na poprawę stabilizacji całego tułowia w ujęciu "funkcjonalnym".
🏁Trenując lokalnie, myśl globalnie. Nie odpuszczaj techniki nawet pompując łapy, wiele możesz stracić!

Anorgasmia
Se trata de la ausencia de orgasmo; puede ser primaria, cuando la mujer nunca ha experimentado el orgasmo, o secundaria, cuando en un momento puntual de su vida se produce dicha disfunción. Ésta segunda es la más habitual y la que se trata con fisioterapia.

Las causas de la anorgasmia secundaria pueden radicar en la alteración de cualquiera de los mecanismos que intervienen en el desencadenamiento del reflejo orgásmico: mecanismos vasculares, musculares, nerviosos. Esto suele ser habitual después de un parto, en la menopausia, después de cirugía uroginecológica, después de tratamientos de quimioterapia y radioterapia pelviperineal o por disfunciones musculares del suelo pélvico.

La fisioterapia busca mejorar y normalizar, en la medida de lo posible, la función muscular, vascular y neurológica en el suelo de la pelvis, consiguiendo de este modo que todos los tejidos y estructuras participantes en la función sexual se encuentren en las condiciones más óptimas.

👍Today l spent time with the amazing @pbphysio at the @adonisathleticspaddington where for the first time since I initially injured myself - I was given treatment, chronic pain relief, significant education re ingrained fear avoidance behaviours, & the basics on pain perception.

🙋🏻‍♀️This tiny little Asian with elbows of steel, & a background of similar injuries, combined with exponential technical knowledge has managed to desensitise my chronic pain, increase my range of motion beyond my expectation, & actually have me squat within a matter of 2hrs!!

🤯WTF like where has she been my whole life hahaha and @yeahthefaz when we joked about me being your next world champ benchpress power lifter on our episode of @competitiveedgepodcast - I think we can upgrade this in the future & just dominate it all 🤔🤭😈

A few weeks ago I was not able to pull up the roller. And now?
I pull the #roller and lift the bottom up.

I like this exercise.

According to me, it's preparing body for the exercises:
➡️ Pull Ups on the Wunda Chair
➡️ Knees Round on the #Reformer
➡️ Tendon Stretch on the Reformer

Activates abdominal's #muscles and mobilise the shoulders. This #exercise teach the conscious #movement, precisely that the movement needs to start from the #pelvis.

I am #proud of myself 💗
