Bundled up against the winter chill, you stare in fascination as your boat glides through a fairyland of twinkling lights!
Christmas on the Pecos tours are 40 minutes long. Boats set sail several times each night between 5:30pm and 9:45pm. Tours depart from the Pecos River Village, a quaint, turn-of-the-century park located at 711 Muscatel.
Tours sell out quickly, especially on Thanksgiving weekend, Fridays and Saturdays, and Christmas Day. Tours are not offered on Christmas Eve. Get your tickets in advance at http://www.christamasonthepecos.com
Seasons are changing once again; to prove it, here’s Otto Mann playing in one of our favorite Summer swimming holes. This is the last week of our Fall Guide Semester and we’re bummed it’s over but so proud of the students we get to send off. They have been on adventures across the West including California, Utah, New Mexico, and Old Mexico. Even though the semester is over the fun continues as we get to see what they do next, and how they use all they’ve learned from skills to self discovery. “That God already knows us thoroughly is certain (Psalm 139:6). It remains for us to know ourselves as accurately as possible.” A.W. Tozer #gapyear#guidesemester @wilderness_trek #glorietacamps#pecosriver#ottomann#awtozer
#TBT Recently a group of #MarathonOil#volunteers joined forces with several agencies, including the New Mexico Association of Conservation Districts, Carlsbad Soil and Water Conservation District, @bureau_of_reclamation, Carlsbad Irrigation District and @mypubliclands to clean up areas along the #PecosRiver . Efforts like these are one of the many ways we’re committed to serving and supporting the communities in which we work and live. #LivingOurValues
