It is currently 94 in Portland.
But, things in my tiny little floral studio seem to be holding up well so far.
All the flowers have been purchased, the stems are prepped, the buckets are organized, the arrangements have been “greened” in and are ready for flowers.
This will be a fun #wedding , I am working with my talented friend, @bekahtaylorphotography on this one. Today we came up with final plans. I am looking forward to waking up early and getting to create with these beautiful blooms.🌿🌸🌿
While perusing the Farmer’s Market - the prettiest Cafe Au Lait Dinner Plate Dahlia plant caught my eye that now has been added to my growing collection of garden flowers! This is a peek at yesterday’s bouquet - there’s just something about a peach + blush color combo that gives that dreamy, romantic, whimsical feel.

Ever slightly cooler weather brings cooler shades of blooms.
Anyone else notice the evenings already drawing in and getting darker earlier eek!
As much as I love summer, I am kind of looking forward to Autumn, my favourite time of year and full of inspiration for me. It's when I get most creative in my business.
But not yet...Summer can please commence until further notice, thank you very much ☀☀☀
Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fab weekend in the sun, I’m getting set for a busy week ahead with two beautiful weddings. Ordering, prepping, conditioning and blitzing my workshop! Both are having a pretty ivory and peach colour palette, like this top table arrangement from last Summer.
