Had a pretty rad weekend, got a little more done on the #100e#anglia , and Brendin got the #laurel out again at #pegasusbaydrags and managed to do a #pb of 9.0!!! The thing will be doing 8’s on no time!!!!

PB & JELLY OATS
Ingrediënten: - 40gr havermout
- 125ml amandelmelk, ongezoet
Bereiding: Havermout en melk mengen, vervolgens 1 minuut opwarmen in de mircogolf, nog eens goed roeren, nog een half minuutje in de microgolf en toppen maar!
Toppings: pindakaas, jam en granaatappelpitjes

#medalmonday and it has to be yesterday’s @great_run .
I’ve only ever entered local races and half marathons so really didn’t know what to expect from
the #greatsouthrun .
The village was huge, and when queuing up for the start I couldn’t even see the line - I thought the raised platform half way back was part of it! 🙈 .
The pacers only arrived in the pens towards the end of the group warm ups, meaning they had to squeeze past people to get into their right positions. .
By some miracle the 01:15 pacer walked past me so I latched on to him - 01:15:00 was my gold goal.
However he kept on walking and walking and eventually I couldn’t squeeze past anymore people to get to him. He ended up starting in the ‘faster club runners’ pen which are for people aiming for sub 60 mins? 🤷🏻♀️ .
I quickly forgot about it and set on pacing myself, I knew the minute miles I had to do, it was now just a case of doing them! .
The first two miles were quicker, but then I was expecting that - what I wasn’t expecting was 9 out of the 10 miles were quicker then my pace goal 🏃🏻♀️👌🏻
The one mile which was over was 7:33 - nothing like the Minuit differences I’ve suffered in the past! .
The aim was 7:30 mm and I averaged 7:22! .
Finish time: 01:14:12
Although I’m already annoyed I didn’t go 13 seconds faster 😂
So proud of myself yesterday, not just for hitting the gym twice in one day but, getting a PB of 90KG deadlift🙌🏼
My form isn’t fabulous however considering I’m a 5ft shrimp who hates deadlifts I’m happy.
