A reminder of this incredible experience popped up on my timeline from exactly one year ago... I have more to teach my daughter than math and science. I want to show her how amazing and limitless her future can be when she goes after what her heart tells her, without ever letting the fear of what others will think stand in her way. We are all born different for a reason so why in the world do we try so hard to blend in? I did it for the first 37 years because I didn’t know any different. I went to school, got incredible grades, kept quiet, and even went to college for 6 years. I blended in pretty nicely. How did that turn out?? Meh! Unfulfilled.
In the past 3 years I’ve come to learn that blending in is boring and it certainly doesn’t produce leaders or change in the world. Progress and success feel so much better too! Believe it or not, I’ve never been more snickered at, ignored or seen more eye rolls as I have during these past few years. It’s OK though, I know exactly why it’s happening and that is only fuel to my fire. 🔥
Find your strengths baby girl, embrace them, and step outside of your comfort zone every chance you get. Your dreams are worth it, and YOU are worth it! I promise to continue to lead you by example. Your Mom and Dad are just getting started! #nextlevel
This is Alex Lusiba. We were BEST BUDS back in 2015. I taught him about photography, composition and lighting but most importantly I taught him the word DUDE... (which we haven’t stopped calling each other ever since.)
Our favorite things to do together were: photoshoots, make s’mores, make ugly faces across the room at each other during serious moments and riding together on rides at Disneyland. I loved watching Alex perform because he was one of the most PASSIONATE and FAITHFUL kids up there. He gave it 110% EVERY SINGLE TIME. Just look at the shots I got of him! He would always look down and find me in the crowd between songs and smile and make goofy faces... and the first thing he would do after performances is run down to me and ask to go through my photos of him. He was always so appreciative and excited!
But my all time FAVORITE MEMORY was when BRIT and I took him and Abraham on Space Mountain. THAT WAS HILARIOUS. They held onto us for dear life and told us they thought they were going to die (how traumatic that must’ve been to never experience a ride and go on a roller coaster in a pitch black room with no point of reference to compare it to!) but they were troopers and even though they were scared they loved every second and laughed super hard after they realized they survived. Alex has the cutest giggle ever. I’ll never forget their expressions. I’m so glad I wrapped my camera around my wrist and managed to get some candids without dropping it. Totally worth the risk. Take a look at Abraham’s emotional journey HAHAHAHAHA!
URGENT HELP NEEDED FOR RESCUE BY TOMORROW!
Two very unusual for us rescues... FIRST: A rescue not typical for our shelter, but the person who took care of animals like that moved out of the country and I simply know not what to do. But with help of internet and knowing people I decided to try out and rescue BABY DEER that was found by hunters and they spared her life. But now they are afraid that no longer can take care and decided to sell and all who wants to buy it out are hunters aswell. To teach dogs to hunt on deers😓
SECOND: How strange it would not sound but ostriches became part of Ukrainian meat industry many years ago and still are. I never tried to rescue them for many reasons. One of them is a price! And grown up animals are not transportable. They panic and might get damaged very seriously. A year ago my friend tried to rescue a pare of these unique birds, but the rescue ended up as a tragedy...
Aswell as in new environment they get fit very badly.
So only BABY OSTRICHES can be safely and rather cheap be brought to safe place.
So by tomorrow we need to reach necessary funds on baby deer and 6 ostriches from the farm... Who can help these babies out?( Now counting the price of it all with transportation costs...) ➡️All direct links in highlights ⬅️ #ugolyok#animal#rescue#farm#sanctuary#pray#love#compassion#rescue#help#save#sponsor#donate#survive#deer#ostrich#wildlife#animals#animalwelfare#saveus#helpshelter#donate#shoutout#deerofinstagram#ostrichesofinstagram#animalsofinstagram#wildlifeofinstagram#payitforward#randomactsofkindness#family
