[P!DinTaipei] Our trip to Taipei has been one that was filled with kindness, kindred souls, yummy delights and lots of creative energy! We were truly blessed with good weather, beautiful souls and good vibes all around!.
Over a span of 4 days, we were fortunate to meet and connect with talented and passionate individuals and organizations that are making a positive impact in the design and architecture scene in Taipei. I have learnt and gained tremendously from the connections and happy to have made many more new friends in Taipei 🙂.
Taipei is a city that truly celebrates the hidden gems —- it’s heritage, culture and communities. This is reflected in the fabric of the city with projects like #TreasureHill , Open Green 打開綠生活 by Classic Landscape Design, #CIT by Plan B, Open Living by Classic Landscape Design and Wan Hua Historical District and 街遊 Hidden Taipei by The Urbanists Collaborative. What stood out is that such projects are done so elegantly where it respects the old, embraces the new and they co-exists harmoniously. It is like it was just meant to be. Taipei is a city with a voice. A creative voice. .
Onwards to more cultural exchanges and sharing of ideas and learnings!.
MUUAN is developing the recreational area of Vesaniemi, which is situated on a small peninsula reaching to the lake Vesijärvi in Kangasala. Popular among certain associations and locals living nearby, Vesaniemi is an unknown pearl to a bigger audience, despite of its location right next to the city center. As a part of the development plan, we organised a participatory workshop to the local actives. Our participatory methods help us to get a local point of view of how to create a better, more responsive area plan that answers to the true needs of the users of Vesaniemi. In the future, Vesaniemi will be a recreational area that offers different kind of activities and leisure opportunities year-round to locals and visitors alike.

🌎We have a little motto in the make:good studio; that we're not trying to save the world with the work we do, we're simply trying to make it a better place 🌎 To read this month's blog on #SocialValue , head over to the link in our bio •
Hey heres some pics of my final design honours project- a card set to develop stronger student- teacher relationships in high schools 👩🎓✏💃
So happy to have produced something of high quality and which is true to myself as a designer 😊
Also thanks to everyone who came to support me at the grad exhibition last night!
2nd grade site visit to Public Place! Can you plan better than a 2nd grader @nychousing / #NYCDCP ?? Not likely.... build green spaces, not roads. Build playgrounds, not streets. Build gardens, not parking lots. Cars don't belong in our public spaces. Almost an acre of @nychousing plan for Public Place is dedicated to streets. What century are we living in, Robert HPD Moses??
We're busy working on our #CuriosityCart project with @BowArts 📐📏 - but thought we'd share this great photo from our site analysis workshop, measuring and analysing the space with our primary school group
