I miss Greece 🇬🇷
My grandfather was from Greece. The first time I went to Greece was with my grandfather. The second time... He was there with me in spirit. .
This year has been a bunch of ups and downs. From getting the #growwithgoogle scholarship, going on an international trip with my family (missing @ariciaaa we missed you!) and learning what the life of a #digitalnomad really was like, to hearing the heartbreaking news that my grandfather passed away...
Life is a roller coaster and you have to take the good with the bad. The most important thing is to continue to grow and learn 🌱 and to take breaks when you need them! 💕
In a few days, @natalienorton and I will have been married for 16 freaking years.
I knew she’d be my wife the first day I met her.
She knew I’d be her husband a week later.
We didn’t know or love each other yet.
We just knew.
Within 2 weeks of meeting we were officially engaged.
Within 2 months of meeting we were married.
Within 9 months of marriage we had our first child.
Within 2.5 years we had our second.
Within less than 4 years we had our 3rd.
Within 5 years Nat’s brother died (buried in Laie). Within 7 years we had our fourth son.
Within 3 months of his birth he died (buried with his Uncle in Laie). Within 12 years we had 3 more children (foster). After 2 years of being our everything, they returned to bio mom.
Within 15 years our 3rd son was hit by a car and lived. 🔥
A lot can happen in a short period of time. Make today count. 🔥
Note: Notice I’m keeping track here of certain family life events. Your experiences with people, especially family, are transformational. Building a family is the only entrepreneurial experience that matters. Everything else is a side note.
One of the best compliments Natalie and I received when we were getting our pictures taken after our wedding was this: “You like each other. Many couples I photograph love each other but don’t like each other.” Do you love your spouse but have a hard time liking him or her?
Erechtheion an Ancient Greek temple on the North side of the Acropolis dedicated to Athena and Poseidon constructed 421 - 406 BC.
It was so great to visit the museum, learn about the history and then see the real life monuments. So incredibly mind boggling the scale of architecture that existed ☺️🤓👌🏼 #acropolis#athensholiday#parthenon#loveathens
