Well hello! (If you saw my Stories yesterday, you’ll particularly appreciate that greeting 😂). Strap yourselves in, because I’m not editing this caption and I have no idea what I’m actually going to say. Wild, I know.
I haven’t posted anything in almost a month, and I’m not even sure where that month went! I guess I have some idea - it disappeared into the moving process, traveling to be with family, having my mom here for a few weeks, trying to keep up with work and all my other obligations...and trying to hold on to a shred of sanity through all of the above. It has been quite a whirlwind few months here, and I’m sure many of you can relate!
This time of year can be particularly challenging for many people, and it’s filled with emotions and expectations and extra commitments that can sometimes send us all a little over the edge and make us feel exhausted. I’ve been working hard to make decisions for myself that prioritize my health and happiness and responsibilities, and it’s not always easy. Or fun. Sometimes it means spending Christmas away from your family. Sometimes it means saying no to fun invitations and events. Sometimes it means just curling up on the couch with a Christmas movie because you’re too tired to do anything else. Whatever it is you’re doing this season to take care of yourself and your time and space - I applaud you. It ain’t easy. But it’s always, always worth it.
Hang in there, friends. Enjoy this crazy couple months as much as you can, and be good to yourselves. P.S. Go check out my Stories for some wonderful self care tips (from you guys!) as well as to see a sneak peek of my new apartment. You know, if you’re into that sort of thing.
🇫🇷📍📸 My Paris City Guide is HERE!🥰🥖🍷link in bio
Over 120 photos, 75 recommendations, easy links to everything, and all organized by arrondissement (and a menu that will navigate you to each on the list)-- I'm super proud of this very comprehensive guide... also because it took me 1.5 years to finally get this done 🤣 but I can say it was probably the hardest I've worked on a city guide and it's the longest blog post I've ever written 💁🏻♀️ I had to do it justice, as Paris is my favorite city in the world (aside from NYC), so it is so worth it. It is a super expanded version of the email I've sent to over a dozen friends who used my recommendations to this favorite city of mine.
I hope you all peruse the dreamy wanderlust pictures, enjoy the guide, bookmark it for reference, and that it makes you want to buy that plane ticket to Paris 🥰
