This year I’m giving a gift to my para because I wouldn’t have survived the transition to my new district/grade/building without her! The picture doesn’t do the awesome work @boswells_reclaimed did justice! Thanks again for making this! #paraprofessionalsrock
A little gingerbread creation was happening here after lunch. It was a huge hit for the family. This was a gift from one of the paraprofessionals who works in hubby's classroom. These people work hard and help teachers in amazing ways. You think teachers don't do the job for the money? That rings true every bit as much for paraprofessionals!! Thank you for all you do in the classroom! #gingerbreadhouse#creativity#family#paraprofessionalsrock#thankyou
Over the past couple of weeks we've met up with some of Jordan's favorite paraprofessionals. This week we went on a walk with a wonderful woman who was Jordan's paraprofessional for 4 years. It was great catching up with her. My girls also loved stopping by one of our favorite natural parks after our walk. Jordan isn't much for catching frogs, but his sisters sure are. ☺️ #paraprofessionalsrock
Tomorrow will be a bitter sweet day for me, my Ming Ming will be graduating from kinder but we are not sure if her awesome Paraprofessional will be joining her to the 1st grade😔I am so grateful to have had her with my daughter one on one throughout her school year & after spending hours deciding on what to gift her for appreciation, there was this little angel figurine that caught my eye, her efforts & support really touched our lives! #teacherstouchlives#autismspeaks#paraprofessionalsrock#grateful#thankful#blessed
"From tiny seeds grow mighty trees." That's one of my favorite phrases that makes me think about how important the work is that we do in education. And these two ladies sure know how to nurture those tiny seeds. I've never met two people who truly *enjoy* children as much as they do. Regardless of the stress and the weight of doing a job with so much at stake, we can all throw our heads back and laugh at every hilarious thing that happens--and those happen frequently in preschool! Our kids feel happy, safe, and loved when they come to school because of Miss Renee and Miss Angela. They find the joy in all children!
I like to think I am a good boss, but they also put up with a lot of my quirks and huge ideas without complaint (just occasional wisecracks!), because they have big ideas, too. They know this isn't just a classroom; this our school family. And there isn't anything they wouldn't do to help a child grow.
No task too big, no task too small, our paras can do it all! Happy Para Appreciation Week to two ladies who help grow the mightiest trees. We love you!! #preschool#mrstabathasclass#missrenee#missangela#schoolfamily#paraprofessionalsrock
This year I made gift baskets of homemade spa products for the paraprofessionals I work with. They have helped created an amazing team for my classroom and without them I could never do my job. #paraprofessionalsrock#amazingclassroomteam
Well today is the last day of school and I was in tears as if I was the teacher. I truly have appreciated my son's teacher this year in Pre-K. She was so patient, attentive, kind and eager to teach her students. This year my son had made tremendous progress and it was comforting to know when you truly have a teacher that cares. It was on my heart to honor and show my gratitude to wonderful teachers and assistants who do all they can and take their job as a teacher seriously. It's not always about a paycheck, it's about the love and passion you have for teaching children. My son's teacher and the paraprofessional definitely personified all the great characteristics and traits of an outstanding leader and teacher. #2015#prek#teachersrock#paraprofessionalsrock
My paraprofessional is better than yours! JK I'm sure there are a lot of great paraprofessionals out there but mine is one of the best.
Let's start off with she's a runner, I learned that on day 1 and we run close to the same pace and have done a few races.
And.... Not only did she start organizing our room for the summer by putting away our stuff (yes as far as I know I should be back next year) she has already started creating our ELD & Sight Words boards. Each month she has a different theme for our words.
Last month we had a fish aquarium with all the ocean related words and this month we have bees with our sight words.
