Let me say this out loud . No pricing advice in the world is going to help you if you do not have a sense of value for your work. Put the right value for yourself and work or no one else will.
Next is, mind your own pricing instead of comparing with others. At first, you will probably never feel comfortable stating your prices specially if you based your strategy on what someone else is doing. It has to fit your brand, be based on your value, and feel like your right price and you are going to have confidence in stating it.
Third: Keep it simple. A size 2 dress is priced the same as a size 16, regardless of the amount of materials used. What cost you more specially in making paper flower is your time. And big or small, if not the same but very close time you exert to make those sizes. So no need to get sticky about exact cost for the square cm of materials; round to an average or use the highest amount for your pricing.
Hope this gives you an idea on how to put pricing into your Paper Flowers
💕 The only thing I would add is don’t undermine your own work by cutting your prices to beat others. It only makes your product look cheap and cheapens the work of others! 💕
Making a difference is something I haven’t even considered when I started making Paper Flowers 🌺. I did numerous jobs in the past yet nothing has ever make me beam with pride quite like being called an inspiration.
This is a work of art handmade by my Paper Flower Template Client @amirieger . What can I say, but WOW 😮. Just wow❗️. Thank you so much for sharing your project using The Crafty Sagittarius ♐️ Rose Templates. So Elegant and Timeless. You did an amazing job ! You said in your message to me, “ Thank you so much for all the tips and tricks and amazing templates and video tutorials “ Those are such heartwarming words that even warmth my entire body from the cold of snow. But you know what, Thank you. Thank you to all of you!. Thank you because you all make me feel that I have a higher purpose than just making Paper flowers. Thank you because you all inspire me to become a better version of myself. Thank you because, I may be away from where I originally came from but your love and support make me feel home. It has not been the easiest of roads, but there’s one thing I can clearly state at the end of the day. “ I am a Paper Flower Artist. It’s an honor to grow with you. And I am beyond proud to call you my tribe and to make a difference in my own little way”
Check out my blog on how I started my Paper Flower Business..... So ok, you have a great passion for Paper Flowers, and you strongly believe you are ready to start a business out of it. But how much money do really need to get started?
In my experience, I keep it to minimal, like close to nothing. Seriously, you don't need hundreds and thousands of dollars to get stated. The lesser you spend to start, the lesser the risk you will get. This business works for me, but there's no guarantee it will also work for you. So keep the expenses low.
Believe it or not, I started with less than $10.00. How? Like many others, I tried different business ventures online. And Paper Flower seems to be the most audience engaging product I posted. It all begun early January last year (2017) after I decided to assemble simple paper flower, and list it on Facebook Market. That's how I spent my less than ten dollars capital. I bought 6 pieces of poster boards ( in different colors ) from the Dollar Tree at 49 cents a piece and less than $6 for the 24 pieces pack of hot glue stick from Michaels. My Mother in-law is a hardcore crafter herself and she owns lots of crafting materials. She shared some of her unused tools to me like my favorite glue gun that I've been using for over a year now, scissors, pins, and even sewing machine. From the very beginning I made my own templates. So what I'm trying to say is that, you don't have to start fancy. Be resourceful . Look around your house. If you have tools that you can use or even borrow, start with it. Do not spend a money you haven't earned yet just because you have a high vision of earning.

Turning your PASSION into MONEY 💴
Let’s face it - pursuing your passion and starting your own business and to quit your soul dragging but somewhat stable 9-5 job can be scary and even downright terrifying. Millions of “what ifs” to consider stoping lots of people to take the plunge. Then there’s the word PASSION that somewhat changed the mentality of many specially the millennials in the journey of pursuing dreams.
We strongly believe that if we love what we do, money will follow. In my own personal experience, that is just “PARTLY TRUE”. Yes it is ideal that you’d make the most money when you do something you love and invest your whole heart and soul in it. And the idea of passion-based business tend to be so overwhelmingly exciting that many overlook the painful and brutal reality.
When you want to earn money doing what you love, PASSION is plainly not enough. Many people blindly follow their dreams and passion believing that their deep love for what they do will be enough to make them successful. WRONG! What I found out is Passion will keep you going and sticking to the goals over harsh adversities. However, to make money out of our passion, we need to always remember, IT’s NOT ABOUT YOU. It isn’t about your passion. And in fact, no matter how passionate you are about something, nobody cares about it because you do. Cruel I know. But we have to take into account that it’s about your client and customers. What you can give them, what you can do for them, and how they benefit from knowing you. You have to make them care about your passion so much that they will pay you to do it.
Check out the second photo. It’s the bank deposit transaction i received yesterday. It’s from Google Adsense payment for the videos I made in Youtube. I believe this is a perfect example of the phrase, “If we love what we do, money will follow.” It’s not much I know, but more than good enough considering its just a month after I did the monetization. And looking at the statistics, its projected to be $250 this month. Meaning, its growing.
