St. Augustine Church or commonly known as the Paoay Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a best example of the localized Baroque architecture with its monumental and massive appearance. It takes almost two decades to complete the construction of this massive edifice which was started by the Augustinian friars.
This church is beyond beautiful. Its grandeur cannot be contained in pictures or described with words. A historically rich and a picture perfect place you shouldn't miss visiting in your Ilocos Norte trip. 😊
Another second time for me! The last time, I bought my favorite sweet corn and it's paired with butter. This time, I bought something new---dragonfruit and avocado-flavored ice cream. Yum 😋 Paoay Church is still admirable. Stay strong, Paoay Church. I'll be back, perhaps!
Gloomy weather perfect for Paoay church visit. Also known as Saint Augustine Church, the structure was finished early 18th century and named as a National Cultural Treasure by the Philippines and UNESCO World Heritage Site
