Today's card is brought to you by The Hermit and I am so glad.
He is everything I needed and more this morning. I have a few hours alone today amidst the chaos and I will be taking those hours to recharge, connect back to myself and listen, in the quiet, to that inner guide to help me fill my time with things which will aid me.
Taking the time to step away from the day to day chaos we have been experiencing gives me the chance to rediscover my own innate wisdom, strengthening myself once more in order to help those around me when it is needed.
While I was meditating on this card I asked The Hermit if I was bothering him by being there, in the underground cavern I had found myself. He replied: "Of course not. You're not distracting me. I am you." It's easy to forget, when staring at a card, that these are direct reflections of ourselves.
When I opened my eyes after meditation the first thing I saw was a small flower in the garden sticking out of the slabs. I hadn't noticed it before... But there was a perfectly formed pansy growing through the bricks.
There are no flowers currently in our garden, only a selection of rapidly growing herbs, but that sure as shit ain't stopping this guy.
Show yourself a little love today and take a moment to find something magical in an otherwise chaotic place.
