Bater tudo no processador. 
Colocar num tabuleiro e fazer bolas altas com 2 colheres. Usei um tapete de silicone. Levar ao forno a 180° durante 25 a 30 minutos! 
Esperar arrefecer um pouco para cortar.

Assim como "todo" profissional da saúde eu TB passei por uma fase de negação que Low Carb era uma estratégia alimentar e não mais uma dieta da moda. E o botãozinho que ligou o meu senso crítico com relação a isso foi a Gliconeogênese.

Aprendi sobre gliconeogênese logo que entrei na faculdade, ou seja, ainda estava crua e no decorrer das aulas, principalmente de dietoterapia, nem lembrei do que aprendi na aula de bioquímica.

Pois bem, a Gliconeogênese ocorre no fígado e rins, transformando precursores não glicídios como o lactato, glicerol e aminoácidos, na nossa querida GLICOSE. Trocando em miúdos, nosso corpo produz glicose de forma endógena. A quantidade de glicose que o corpo precisa é igual à quantidade que ele faz na ausência de carboidratos.

Se pararmos para pensar, uma pessoa que se perde em uma floresta ou as crianças da Tailândia que se perderam na caverna não morreram de hipoglicemia, justamente por causa deste mecanismo.

Mas daí alguns profissionais me questionam sobre a necessidade de glicose no cérebro, medula renal, eritrócitos, córnea e testículos. Sou mineira e jogo logo o: UAI? A glicose vem da Gliconeogênese, ora bolas! .

His and her anniversary addition!! One year ago today I got to marry my best friend!! For breakfast I made him @kodiakcakes Pancakes (protein style: added 1 cup mix, 1cup milk, 1egg). I used @kerrygoldusa butter and whatever syrup we had. I ordered syrup from @choczero, it’s just not here yet. And of course 3 eggs on the side for more protein and healthy fats. 
For myself I warmed up leftovers from yesterday’s brunch. Eggs, bacon, cheese, 1/2 avocado. This is my favorite breakfast so I am happy and satisfied!

I know it seems hard to make 2 meals, but the extra work is worth it to me!  I don’t want to stray from my goals!  I have to cook anyways, might as well keep everyone happy!

If your thinking about trying to lose fat then you probably have already started googling the best diets, workouts, etc. and of course my favorite, I will start Monday (I'm totally guilty of that too).

Instead of picking a "diet" and starting Monday, what if you just started now with a few simple changes.

Aim for 20-30 grams of protein at each meal and 20 for a snack.

Take a multi vitamin if your not already!

Focus on "healthy fats" and by that I mean that your fat should come from sources that have Omega 3’s like avocado.

And drink more water, this is obvious but a big one and something I am always working on!

You’ll often hear that a calorie deficit is what’s most important for fat loss.

And yes that is true, but building healthy habits is the most important factor if you want to maintain fat loss. Without them your just yo-yo dieting.

In a single pan I sautéed some spinach in some Avocado Oil and added a pinch of Sea Salt then roasted in the same pan some Pumpkin Seeds. I added the Spinach and Pumpkin seeds on top of  a warm Baked Sweet then added a drizzle of warmed Coconut Butter that’s it!! .

Manteiga tradicional: é uma gordura saudável, que não é prejudicial à saúde, e que deixa um sabor de fundo muito gostoso. Perfil de gordura muito boa. Ótimo para ser utilizada na culinária.

Manteiga Ghee: O ghee é a manteiga após passar por um processo de refinamento “caseiro”. Nesse processo, a manteiga perde o pouco de lactose residual que ela ainda poderia ter, e também as  poucas proteínas que ela ainda talvez apresentasse.O resultado é uma “manteiga diferente”, adequada mesmo para quem tem intolerância à lactose, ou mesmo a alguma das proteínas do leite.

Manteiga de garrafa: Ela é também um pouco refinada, sendo que seu processo é um pouco diferente, e o produto final também. Até porque ela acaba apresentando um estado mais para o líquido em temperatura ambiente.

Depois de saberem a diferença entre elas, vale ressaltar que quanto mais refinado um produto melhor ele é. Porém a manteiga tradicional é de fácil acesso, mas não impede da ghee e de garrafa serem excelentes opções para as receitinhas low carb e pro nosso dia a dia. .

I love coffee, and often have a black coffee with collagen powder for breakfast. Today I'm trying something different, a higher protein version of bullet proof coffee. Too much fat in my coffee doesn't thrill me, so this balance works much better for me.
Thanks to @phillipalyesart for the idea!

Here's what I did:

2 eggs
250ml boiling water
60ml of espresso coffee or instant in 60ml of hot water
1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil
1 teaspoon @greatlakesgelatin collagen powder
1 teaspoon sweetener
Pinch of cinnamon

Blend with immersion blender, or blender of choice, until frothy.

About to put this lid on some vegetable broth. I froze a bunch of veggies, put them in with some olive oil, some herbs, a garlic bulb, a little coconut aminos. Probably gonna use the broth for a split pea soup. It smells really good, lol.

Made some banana bread. I followed the recipe (mostly) from @ourpaleolife, but added some maple syrup instead of coconut sugar (because that's what I had) and I used coconut oil instead of shortening for the same reason. And I only added about 2 tbsp of the syrup, so it was much less added sugar. Since I'm working with half a kitchen and all of my normal baking tools are still in boxes, I had to wing it on some stuff...the measurements were slightly off on the dry ingredients I'm sure. Oh, and I added some vanilla. It turned out really nicely. Not very sweet, which I'm more than okay with. I'm going to make French toast with it tomorrow!

Okay, I did not hit my protein macro yesterday so earlier today at the gym, I was feeling weak asf! I missed it by 50g 😑 I don’t know for sure if the weakness is because I didn’t meet my protein macro or if its just one of my weak sauce days. I literally almost fell over tryna get back up from a squat 😂 Anyways, I was starving after the gym so I got these but then I convinced myself that I ain’t no wuss so now I’m fasting until my feeding window.

I slayed my macros yesterday and I’m eating the same thing today so that means today will be hella slayed as well 🗡 I am almost at 22 hours fasted so I want to see if I can push myself a little longer. Also don’t worry yourself about how “uncooked” my steak is. I prefer them melt in your mouth bloody. I don’t really sear my steak like that, I just like it brown enough. I’m afraid if I sear it longer that it’ll cook all the way through ya knowwww?
