Mixed vegetables with a crisp paratha was one of my favourite meals to come home to in the foggy winters of Lahore. This was usually followed by “ghee shakkar,” and plain roti.
I always get so excited to see red carrots at Indian stores in Calgary because we only get orange ones here. It’s like getting a telegram from the other side of the world that they are also gearing up for cooler temps.
1 large onion chopped
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tomatoes chopped
2 potatoes diced
2 large carrots diced
1 cup peas
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tsp heaped cumin and coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (methi)
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 green chili (optional)
Cilantro to garnish
In 1/4 cup oil, brown onions, add garlic and sauté for a minute. Then add chopped tomatoes. Sauté for 5 minutes and add all the spices. Cook till oil separates.
Add potatoes, carrots and peas. Cook for 2 minutes on medium high heat and then add 1 cup water. Bring to a quick boil, then simmer on low heat till the veggies are done. .
So today from no where I planned to go to pizza hut along with my cousin's family. And we landed at their Cantt's branch, obvious reasons k ghr k bht qareeb hota toh we ordered three small pan Wow deals with consists of two pieces of garlic bread, a drink and a personal pan pizza ( which is more than enough for one person )
So basically I was craving for their Chilli Chicken pizza which has recently been launched by pizza hut
The pizza base topped with tangy and spicy orange colored chilli sauce, mozzarella full fat soft cheese, cooked and roasted flavoured chicken chuncks, green bell pepper, onions and green chillies.
The base of pizza was perfectly baked yet chewy, light texture and authentic taste. Pizza was on point I mean there was time ( for like ages ago) pizza hut had best pizzas in town but phr they started bringing nothing but disappointment. But this cantt branch really has that purana asli pizza hut kind of taste their garlic bread was soft and full or flavor and pizza toh mtlb finger licking good. All in all if someone's in Multan is craving for good pizza from pizza hut they you should visit their cantt branch trust you won't regret spending money. And their chilli chicken pizza is a must try I would definitely recommend it to each one of you.
P.s also posting a selfie along with food photos in case you guys missing my face 😂😂😂😂 ( height of over confidence )

Probably one of the craziest burgers I've had in a while - the Fatboyz burger! (Or what my sisters were calling the Minnie Mouse burger) 🍔🍔🍔
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Layered with a tender beef patty, crispy chicken, turkey bacon and a poached egg (and onion rings) this is quite an adventurous burger (although I'll admit, I couldn't finish it on the day and had to take it home!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Hubby went for the classic American burger and devoured his, we were both quite impressed. One we'll be coming back to I think! 🍟

- Summarizing the visit to @sffkarachi.
Things I loved about it:
• Even with so much crowd, it didn't look crowded.
• Proper sitting areas. Facilitated families well.
• Continuous disposal of garbage.
Things that should be focused on:
• Less brands.
• High prices.
• Concert 😒
Coming towards the reviews: • Matka Chai @takht-e-chai
In paper cup: Rs. 120
In wooden cup: Rs. 140
Umm, I would say overhyped! Worth a one time shot only!
• Khaousey @khaoisey
No doubt the best part of the festival! The winner dish! Must must order from this lady!
We got it for Rs. 200 on 15% off by winning the Jenga game 😋
• Crabs @cafesino were okayish!
For Rs. 250! Must try for crab lovers. For me, I would rate it 🦀🦀🦀
• Mandi @mandihouseofficial was good. 3.5 star rating for both Chicken Madbee and Faham. 350/- each. I would prefer Ridaan!
• Churros @churrositypk were great! Loved these! Flavors available were chocolate, caramel, rainbow, fruit pebbles, nuts and coconut. 250 for 3.
We also tried lemon Limka. Found it on the higher side.💰 150. It was good though.
Kulfi for Rs. 50 was very reasonable.
Classic Pakistani Omelette. First chop, dice and dry washed cilantro. Sauté onion with ginger and baby spinach. My secret: in bowl add 3tbsp milk with 1/3 tsp red chili powder and salt respectively and then add 5 eggs, remove 3 yolks for gains and stir bowl throughly. Then add sautéed onion medley back to bowl and restir and add everything back to pan. Cook omelette over medium to low heat and add cilantro right before you are ready to flip. Serve with optional Italian bread with buffalo ranch rub toasted with cheddar (lmao) and of course, a cup of chai! Enjoy. #throwback#motherland#pakistani#omelette

Weekend spent well AlhumdullEllah and another one is round the corner so this post is specially for food lovers. Discovered one small but yummilicious Pakistani Eatery Khayber Darbar while returning back from #showkadam . The place is located in Al Dhaid Sharjah and serve some awesome desi food.
We tried this place with friends for breakfast best items were brain masala, bhunna hua Qeema, daal, Channa, sookhay parathay (we ask them to make parathay with less ghee they call them sookhay parathay) and last but not the least lassi. Place is very low key and pocket friendly. A must try for desi food lovers.
Nothing makes me happier than recieving PR packages like these.😍 @de_wooden_spoon is a home based startup . They have very limited food items in their menu..
They sent me their spicy signature pasta which was scrumptious and too much spicy. If u are a sucker for spicy food like me you are going to love it🔥
It had chicken, olives sprinkled with cheese, coriander and yes ! Their sauce😍 I love how it tasted.😋 The pasta tasted a little like pizza , Loved the taste.!
They also sent me fudge gooey brownie and nutella cookie. Fudge brownie was yummy. It was soft but a little out of shape.
I loved the nutella cookie which they newly introduced in their menu. It was crunchy from outside with chocolate chips on it and inside was filled with nutella , oozing from it after every bite. 😍😍😍
The best part was that when I recieved the food it was warm and fresh. Loved the quick delivery.
Rating : 4.5/5
Highly recommended !❤
#ChickenThighs + #RoastedVeg - 🍗🌶🥕 .
➰ This chicken recipe is very simple just a few Indian spices + garlic and coriander pretty much it. This recipe was inspired by some chicken I made once as top up chicken (made a curry day before, more people showed up, so just chucked some extra chicken in the oven with spices and combined it all. The top up chicken tasted better than the curry 😂) The easy thing to do would have been to make a large curry with all the ingredients but instead i marinated the chicken + veg individually with different spices and roasted it in the oven. Sometimes simple is best. The veg was really good! 👌 .
➰ Chicken thigh cut in half. Marinate in:
lemon juice + chopped coriander + minced garlic. 1 tsp turmeric + coriander + cumin, 1.5 tsp curry powder + chilli powder + salt pepper. Also a drizzle of oil.
Carrots and parsnips peeled and chopped. Toasted cumin seeds + mustard seeds, pinch of turmeric + chilli powder + salt pepper.
No other line justifies this dish than the emoji above...if only you guys could taste it....yummy 🤤 ....

#tamateymeinmacchi , fish in a tomato sauce, another #pescatarian delight from our fish and seafood repertoire. The head and tail my favourite parts of the fish. I bought two big trouts yesterday, and had some leftover.
Soo satisfying. For me the ultimate #foodheaven is a fish stew which has all the goodness and juices from the fish bones, the whole fish absorbing all the flavours of the base of the sauce be it herbs, tomato, spices etc and soaking it all up with rice. It's a discussion I was having yesterday on this topic with my other whilst devouring my favourite food. This stew was one of the first fish dishes I learnt to cook, because my mum used to cook it ever so often, needed few ingredients too, and easy to rustle-up. Whenever we had guests or family turn - up, and in the subcontinent one never takes appointments to visit family or friends, so used to be quite often and being Sindhi, we would always cook something special, and everyone loved fish. We lived very close to the fish market, Mumbai has several actually all over town. My father always got assigned the task to buy the ingredient, and I used to love accompanying him, and thats how I got my 101 on buying fish and seafood, at an early age. Even now I go around seeking out fish markets in every town I visit, especially the coastal ones. What's your food heaven? Sadly many here don't eat fish on the bone, and I don't eat fish without it and will never cook filleted fish. The fish head especially is so special, and in our family the most coveted part to eat. #sindh#sindhi#sindhifoodinlondon#sindhifood#comfortfood#indianfood#pakistanifood#foodblogger
So first thing you need to do is make your fiverr account.
Go to fiverr.com and enter all of your sign up details.
Now this is where the confusion begins. A majority does not know how to set up the account. Believe me you can do it and it is very simple.
Let me tell you guys, fiverr is so common that youtube is saturated with the beginner tutorials.
Whatever I have known about fiverr is because of youtube.
Search youtube, explore and learn the beginner tutorial videos. It will only require almost 10-15 mintures.
Now the account setup begins.
Add your bio and description and make sure to go through top sellars' profile to have an idea of what sort of description you should add about yourself.
Give an overview of your skills. Lets say you write "I am xyz, a content writer. I have abc years experience in this field and so on."
You can get idea of how to write the description from other sellars but never ever copy their stuff. This is against fiverr's terms and you will have to suffer the consequences if you ever try to manipulate fiverr.
Write your description in a way that you guarantee the customers 100 percent satisfaction.
The next thing you have to do is to create the gig. This too is available all over the internet and is so simple to understand.
You can create almost 7 gigs at a time. Identify your skills and make separate gigs for each.
Select a catchy sentence for the gig title but not too unique that it doesn't appear in the search engine.
Lets say if you want to do content writing, go for, "I will write orginal articles for your blog"
If you want to make a gig for presentation desgin, write "I will design a professional power point presentation for you".
The moment you would enter the title you would see suggestions popping up to classify the categories.
Choose the category which you think matches your area and choose the sub category accordingly.
The next blank to fill is the search tags.
Use tags from the gig title you chose.
Lets say you wrote article writing.
Choose tags like artilce writing, writing, write etc
5 tags are maximum. Use all five. (Continued in the comments)
