My mom and dad went to a resort on the lake and shared pictures of the lake at sunset - which inspired me to paint sunset water pictures - I loved painting these, but I can’t help but think it would be more fun to paint them from the real deal!! 🌊💙💜❤️
Yesterday was all about spending time with my bff. So I took some time off of social media and it was worth every second.
So happy to have her here with us! We don’t get to se each other often so when we do, we make sure we catch up on everything.
I’ve always been a girly girl, and a romantic at heart. I fell in love with Laurence Amelie’s floral paintings instantly. I find myself painting like her, not copying but drawing inspiration from. I love dancing flowers, using my fingers to make the petals, and delighting in the playful way they move. This is a brand new floral and available-if Interested please message me for pricing.
Sweetheart Hoya for the #werootforsuccess challenge... take two at posting this! Variations with loose pen, close ups, no pen and some messing about with leaves and flowers. I managed to grab an hour while DD1 was out with her friends and DD2 was doing a practice test for her AQE. Roll on school starting!!

I've been teaching acrylic painting to the loveliest group of ladies at the Dulles South Rec. Center the last few weeks. Each class, they paint their hearts out, and before we all know it, it is time to pack up for the week. I would gladly stay there and paint longer with them, but the rest of the staff is waiting for us to finish up so they can lock up and go home. There is only one more week of this session left, and I will be sad it is over. Luckily, I'll get to do it all again in October! (registration for beginner acrylic painting in October is now open - class code 105570-01)
