I’m bringing this baby to her new home tomorrow. This was one of my first pebble paintings. I went to Killiney beach with my kids and my hubby and we collected these stones together. Each one picked for different reasons. It was my first time to take photos to paint from as well, something I’m hoping to do more of this summer. I’m adding this to my print collection shortly as well. #frantheartist
(78/100) of #the100dayproject . I already posted this little set of canvases on my side account, but I thought I’d take the time to share it over here as well. These canvases are really small, 2”x2” to be exact. I found both the size and the choice of using two separate canvases (a diptych, if you will) to be a fun experiment. I’m definitely going to be trying this idea more in the future, but for now if you’re interested in purchasing these two paintings I’m selling them together for $20 plus shipping. Contact me if you’re interested! #100daysofrediscoveringcreativity
These canvases are tiny - two inches square, to be precise. It was a fun challenge to work so small, even if I did feel a bit cramped at times. This is also my first time doing a diptych painting, so that was a lot of fun to experiment with as well. I’m definitely going to be playing with these canvases more in the future. These pieces (together) are available to purchase for $20 plus shipping; contact me if you’re interested!
