The Joint Investigation completed by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) and Over 50 Media Partners, called the The “Implant Files” project, and it was a year long journey through thousands of files at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, where investigators found that many of the devices that were approved had little clinical testing and they were rarely pulled off the market when problems arose. .
For CRPS sufferers, Spinal Cord Stimulators, SCS, are one of the TOP treatments that we hear about from doctors to block the pain signals going to the brain. The SCS is implanted near the spine and send electric currents to block pain signals from reaching the brain. Doctors and patients prefer this method to opioids and it is advertised as a safer method. Some 60,000 units are implanted every year. .
But the FDA found a whopping 500 deaths and 80,000 injuries associated with the SCS since 2008. For all of you who have been fighting getting one, keep up the good fight, and the link attached is now you’re ammo with your doctors. .
For those of you with them, many have been shocked or burned by them when the wires become dislodged or move, and while we wish you the best, and hope nothing bad happens, of course, please be aware.

Fascia Blaster Recap
Even if you don't have any cellulite or dimpling. If you suffer from any aches or pains this product can help you alleviate them without drugs.
I'm not saying it can cure you, but it can help. It has definitely helped me.
Please always consult your doctor before starting anything new.
I little bit of information that may help you Live a Healthy and better Wellbeing.
Researchers believe that the loss in daylight hours has actually led to a loss in serotonin and melatonin levels (and boy, if that is the case, then those of us with CRPS are in REAL trouble - because we are running on EMPTY on those because of the disease) and this alone leads to DEPRESSION. .
So how can we combat it? There IS something that we can do. .
VITAMIN D & SUNSHINE. Getting as much natural daylight as possible throughout the day is the BEST thing that you can do. Even if you are normally used to staying in bed all day, if you have CRPS AND it’s winter, do yourself a favor and get as close to a sunny window as you can, for at least 20 minutes a day. Next, open up all of your window shades, and let as much natural light into the house as possible. If you are used to living in a dark den, you are just going to make the depression worse. Trust me. .
GET ACTIVE. Now I know what you are going to say. But you can. You have SOME muscle somewhere on your body that still works - use that muscle. It doesn’t matter if it is your right bicep or left quad. Good exercises that you can do with the muscles that you do have that work. You need to move those muscles to create new dopamine and serotonin - and it stimulates the vagus nerve. Do more reps - less weight. .
AVOID DEPRESSANTS. Drinking, drugs, sad movies, sad books, anything that makes you cry. Try engaging in happy activities. Laugh. :D .

Customer Testimonial: I hesitated posting this because this is my daughter and I didnt want anyone to think less of her , but the reality is that she has been through a lot, and there is a lot at work here-
Among a few-
We have tried everything to help her without going the medication route , and I can honestly say that this product helps us so much - these photos are a couple hours apart , one is obviously before her gummy (she hadn’t had one for three days while at her dads) and the beautiful picture on the right is about an hour after the gummy - I’m not saying it’s a magic cure to any of the above issues by any means but I am telling you that CBD is helping my family heal from the pain of the past and giving my daughter a chance to experience life without the pressure and emotions that she is to young to process right now. This is our favorite product !

I Looove working with athletes because they are so intune with their bodies. When we apply something, they'll immediately respond, better, worse or the same. It's all a great data to pinpoint what few things will work the best. . .
The most important thing is to Listen instead of Look. I personally suck golf, but I know the biomechanics, but it's different for each player. What looks good to me might not FEEL good for them. . .
It's up to the athlete to tell you what feels right or wrong and work from there. . .
There's honestly nothing special about what I do... I think what is special is truly giving a S**t about the people who walk in here. . .
Then having the curiosity and patience to figure out and give my clients back the ability to fix themselves. . .
Thanks for reaching out @jmeltzergolf51 !!! Was freaking awesome meeting you today and looking forward to Friday! . .
If you're in San Diego and want to learn more about what I do, feel free to reach out and schedule your Complimentary 90min Consultation where things like this happen. *Link in Bio* for more info. . .

Telling myself all the Southern California positive vibes stuff. My adrenal glands kicked my ass today. 😔 Here’s me with a unicorn piñata on my head at my little cousin’s birthday party last month. I was pretty worn out that day too but you’d never know it from looking at me.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for @thefamilyjulesss tomorrow...her first try at liquid fasting! .
SWIPE>>>>>>>>To see what went into each of the 3. We will be juice fasting on Thursdays, the benefits of which are too many to name. To me the most important is the break from 'digestion mode' when the body can efficiently heal and detox.
Fasting is an ancient practice; I recommend beginners start with vegetable and fruit juice fasts rather than water fasting which is a bit harsher on the system and the psyche.
Let’s talk a minute about #LifeReadyOpenHouse ✨ This is our pro bono physiotherapy initiative that we hold very close to our hearts, and after years of it being a dream, is one that we are proud to make a reality! 💕
We have partnered with three beautiful non-for-profit organisations; @helpinglittlehands_australia, @caradwa and The Esther Foundation — and with the support and assistance of local GPs, our practitioners are volunteering their time in our clinics throughout Perth to make themselves available in providing the full Life Ready experience to the less fortunate in our communities.
The focus of Life Ready is to be able to move people towards their best quality of life, and we want to include everyone in that mission, not just those who can afford treatment or private health and we are so very grateful to our wonderful teams for their support in opening their doors and giving back to the community 🙏🏼 Stay tuned for exciting happenings in 2019 🙌🏼 #lifereadyphysio#lovelifeready#openhouse
What causes elbow pain? There are three bones that connect and come together at the elbow joint, called the condyle. The area around this connection of bones is called the epicondyle. A common elbow problem occurs when inflammation starts, called epicondylitis.
Attached at the condyles are tendons of muscles which People also experience pain due to flexor or extensor tendonitis causing inflammation. Typically when there is an issue with inflammation of these tendons and the tendon does not heal, it will flip over into “tendonosis” which is a non-healing condition of the tendon. It is not inflamed anymore but is also not trying to heal, rather the collagen fibers are not repairing faster than they are breaking down so it is considered a degenerative condition. Depending on the patient’s specific condition Newport Regenerative Medicine can use Prolotherapy, PRP Therapy or Stem Cell therapy to help heal this area.

Things said and done while still LOOPY post-surgery.⠀
(All of this was lovingly replayed to me by my nurse and Charles)⠀
Surgeon: Well... your hernia was a bit larger than I thought so I had to insert some mesh to hold it all in.⠀
Me: Like internal Spanx? You are a miracle worker.⠀
Surgeon: No, not quite like Spanx.⠀
Me: Oh, well... then did you at least cut out a little extra while you were in there? ⠀
Charles: I guess we are out of parmesan cheese?⠀
Me: No, I just opened a bag from TJs.⠀
Charles: Well, where is it? (see pantry pic)⠀
I also dropped the kids cauliflower mac and cheese (which may have been a blessing in disguise) and left the ketchup out for hours!
ABLEISM • “Remember...you’re not a guest in your own life,” my therapist said last night, in the context of dealing with ableism. Ableism is something that I’ve dealt with a lot. People can’t understand why I’m unable to participate in certain activities; people misinterpret my need to rest as a sign that I’m using my health as an excuse because I really must not want to spend time with said people; not getting that someone as “smart and pretty” as me can be genuinely sick and that it’s not for attention.
Discrimination in any form is really hurtful. It is the ultimate irony that I deal with discrimination for something I have ZERO control over and don’t want to deal with at all. These are the cards I was dealt and I do my best daily to rise to the occasion. Trust me when I say: it is much harder for me to live this way than it is to deal with my limited abilities for a short amount of time. For those of you who are able-bodied and get frustrated because your friend/loved one isn’t able to do something you want to do, please try to remember that those of us with limitations never get a chance to leave our bodies. While it’s frustrating because you want to experience something with your friend, your friend wants to as well, but they don’t have the option.
I love the concept of what my therapist said because it’s really easy for me to feel inferior because my physical body isn’t matching up to where my spirit wants to go and would be in life. It’s such a good point to remember that I’m not a guest in my own life and I have every right to take up space, even if it’s with a mobility aid. 😉🙃
All it took was one bad fall through a broken sewer grate to change 8th grader Sellars’ life forever. His injuries left him in overwhelming pain and restricted his options and activities. Today he’s in college to design tech to help people like him. Read more in the link in our bio.
Super Silver Haze and Choco Cream!! BEST. COMBO. EVER!! The @elpatroncbd super silver haze is working awesome to help with my pain control, but if mixed with the wrong eliquid it can have an off flavour. So I tried it with Cookie King Choco Cream and OMG! It is amazing! It doesn't take away from the chocolate flavour, it adds to it.
@signaturevape sells both. Check them out. No, I'm not being paid to say this. It's just factual. And I like to share my vast knowledge 😂

Sleep well & D R E A M
☁️ ☁️ ☁️ “Marijuana is an effective sleep aid because it restores a person’s natural sleep cycle, which so often falls out of sync with our schedules in today’s modern lifestyle,” says Dr. Matt Roman, a medical marijuana physician.
Whether you have a sleep disorder or you’re having difficulty sleeping after a stressful day, cannabis could help you. Marijuana’s analgesic properties might provide some relief for those with chronic pain, while the antianxiety properties can soothe a stressed out mind and body.
Raise your hand 🙋🏻♀️ if you’re setting up for good sleeps tonight!
