Today is definitely one of the best days I’ve had in recent years! This year, I set out a few goals, and the first goal was to get my truck completely paid off. I can finally say that I was able to accomplish that (5 months ahead of schedule). I got Brutus in July of 2015 with a 5 year note just after my freshman year of college. I had always wanted a truck, and my dad knew that so he went and helped me find one. Until today, I never felt like the truck was really mine. But now, looking at that fat “0” 2 years early makes it very real. I have saved just about every dollar that I’ve made this year to do this, and put in a lot of OT. This truck has taught me how to manage money better than any college course ever would have. Now to tackle the next goal!

Im so in love with it already!!! #EufyLove for sure! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Patrick didnt even wait for me to get home!😲 He opened it and had it running way before I walked through the door!
We still havent decided on a name for it yet. And we probably wont run it while we are gone until Brady 🐕gets use to it a bit more. She's not a fan of it at all right now.
So glad I took a risk and purchased this on #PrimeDay
Another one bites the dust! 🙌🏻
Actually, here’s what really happened with this particular credit card. The interest on this one was super high and it was my highest balance card, so last week sometime I opted to spend an evening and call around to see if anyone was offering any “0%-interest-on-balance-transfer” deals, and two places were offering awesome deals (through which I actually already had cards through — both were $0-balance cards). I transferred roughly 50% of the balance to one card that was offering 0% interest for 18 months, and about 40% of the balance to another card that was offering 0% interest for 12 months. I left the remaining 10% of the balance on this card since I was planning to finish it off with this weeks’ paycheck. 💪🏻
I know a lot of people don’t agree with balance transfers; however, I truly believe it’s a wise financial decision to avoid throwing money away in high interest payments each month. I immediately shredded the cards so they couldn’t be used for any new purchases. They are SOLELY for the purpose of paying off debt quicker without paying a ridiculous amount towards interest each month!
But with that said, I paid off the remaining balance on this card today!! That leaves only 4 to go!! Another one will be paid off with my next paycheck (if not sooner)!
I am choosing to follow @DaveRamsey’s #DebtSnowball method of paying off debt — paying off the smallest balance first, then moving to the next smallest balance after that, etc.
On another note, I am going to get my nails done tonight for the first time in roughly 9 months! 💅🏼💕 I almost scheduled a pedicure appointment as well, but opted to do my own #DIYpedicure and save money! 💰
So I bought this truck brand new I’ve work my life away for the past two years not seeing anybody, partying, riding or racing and it was worth it. Today I finally paid it off closed one loan and opened another for the house on the same day. Work hard, out do every other mother fucker out there and you will succeed in life. #paidoff#ram#ram3500#succeed#dodge#laramie
Did you know the more money you make the more you spend? Without discipline and a budget it doesn’t matter how much you make - if you aren’t careful you can still be living paycheck to paycheck. It’s not how much you make but how you manage what you make. Need some guidance?? Shoot us a message!
The student debt crisis is rooted in the privatization of Federal Student Loan agencies in the 90s. Watch the #AdamRuins College episode for more info, or @truTV's new game show #PaidOff , which has been launched in response! Both available on the truTV app. #WednesdayWisdom
Thank goodness for FREE flat tire repair!! We are pretty loyal to our local tire shop. We have found that generally have the best prices and have been great to work with. * they just fixed a flat tire for my husband for FREE- he had a screw in his tire. *we ALWAYS get free tire pressure check and they fill low pressure for NO CHARGE. *They helped us out when we were out of town on a road trip. My husband thought our tire looked strange and we had it checked by the same company, 6 hrs away from home. They checked our warranty and gave us a NEW tire for FREE. I LOVE supporting local when I can. It’s awesome when a company takes care of you close to home and far away. #buylocal#shoplocal#goodcustomerservice#debtfreeliving#debtfreecommunity#debtmanagement#debtfreelife#carprotection#carproblems#paidoff#paidoffcar

There’s just something about July 17th. 🎤Three years ago today I featured for Caroline Rhea for the first time at the Improv & she said I was, “Fucking funny.” Aunt Hilda said I was funny, y’all. 📺 A year ago today I was in LA filming for the short lived FOX show, Punchline (which was so much fun and I totally wish it was still on). 💰Tonight, I’ll be on the new @trutv game show #paidoff that airs at 10/9c. Tune in to see if I pay off my student debt! 👑Last but not least, today marks the 4th day I’ve been insanely lucky enough to work on the set of #queenamerica w/ some of the most talented actors & crew around. I’ve got 3 more days on set and this whole process has been such a dream come true that I’m worried I’m going to jinx it just by posting this. I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT for y’all to see this show later this year! 🔮Here’s to an amazing July 17th for all of you!
We don’t always create the circumstances we end up in. However we do have the power to change our future and create something better for ourselves. All it takes is a willingness to learn and the determination to be consistent.
